OPI Honey Ryder

Today I have another polish from OPI's new Bond Girls Collection, the beautiful gold Honey Ryder*. I last reviewed Solitaire, which is a pretty silver polish, and I was really excited to try out Honey Ryder next. When I first saw the shades in the Bond Girls Collection, I was immediately entranced by Honey Ryder. I'm happy to let you know that this shade isn't only beautiful in the promo pics, it's gorgeous on the nails too!

Honey Ryder is a beautiful yellow gold polish with the Liquid Sand formula. I've really been enjoying OPI's Liquid Sand polishes, as they dry almost immediately and I find the textured finish really fun. This pale gold is very flattering and perfect for Summer. This shade would match perfectly with almost any outfit and skin tone.

I only needed two coats of Honey Ryder for an opaque finish. This polish is highly pigmented, and one of the best gold polishes I've ever used. The Liquid Sand formula is generally on the thicker side, but I still find application quite easy. Also, even though these polishes have a textured finish, they aren't as hard to remove as traditional glitter polishes. Bonus! You can wear Honey Ryder with or without a top coat, depending on how glossy and shiny you want your manicure to be (I'm not wearing a top coat in these photos). The only downside to the Liquid Sand formula, in my opinion, is that the polishes chip fairly quickly. Most Liquid Sand polishes only last about 2 days on my nails before I have to redo my mani.

Have you picked up Honey Ryder yet? I definitely think that this is a must have polish for Summer, and it would make a great addition to anyone's polish collection!

  1. I just picked this polish up and I can't wait to try it on my next mani. It looks great on you.

  2. Wow this looks amazing! I wouldn't wear this on a regular basis but for a special occasion it's just, well, wow! :)

    1. It would be an amazing polish for a special occasion :)
