Revlon Lash Potion Mascara

I've been trying out Revlon's new Lash Potion mascara recently, and I've really been enjoying it! I don't think I've ever tried a mascara from Revlon before, as I tend to stick to CoverGirl from the drugstore. So, I was really excited to try out Lash Potion, especially since I've been hearing a ton of great reviews on this mascara.

Revlon Lash Potion Mascara Packaging

First off, I love the packaging for this mascara, it's so pretty! This mascara has a really large brush, which is right up my alley. I personally love larger mascara wands, as they tend to give more volume to my lashes. My lashes are a pretty good length and they have a natural curl to them, so all I really look for in a mascara is volume. This wand has three groves, which supposedly helps comb through lashes for a clump-free look.

I love how black this formula is, it's a true, deep black. I personally prefer the way really black mascara looks on my lashes. I think that Revlon's Lash Potion gives my lashes great length and curl, and good volume. I normally only apply one coat of mascara, but I do find that I have to apply two coats to get more volume. This mascara doesn't clump up with two coats, which is really great. This mascara also leaves my lashes feeling fairly natural, not crunchy. I hate when mascaras make my lashes feel crunchy, so that's a major plus for Lash Potion! I haven't had any issues with smudging with this mascara, which is great going into the hot Summer months. This mascara also removes easily at the end of the night, and I like to use Bioderma to take all of my makeup off.

So far, I've really been enjoying this new mascara. I do wish that it gave a bit more volume, but it's easy to apply a second coat. The packaging is super cute (that shouldn't matter, but it does!), and I love the larger wand. Have you tried Revlon's new Lash Potion mascara yet? What are your thoughts on this new formula? :)

  1. I've been trying this one too and really do like it! I think it's good too for layering over another mascara.
