Vichy Liftactiv Serum 10 Eyes & Lashes

I've been trying out a new skincare product from Vichy, a serum for eyes and lashes! I've never used an eye or lash serum before, so I was really excited to try out Vichy's Liftactiv Serum10 Eyes & Lashes*.

Here's how Vichy recommends applying this serum:

"1. Put a drop of serum on your fingertips, and then spread it.2. Close your eyes, then apply by lightly pressing around the eye area.
3. With your eyes closed, apply it with a blindfold gesture, from the inside corner of the eye to the outside corner, including the eyelashes.
4. Still with your eyes closed, finish by placing your index finger below your lash line and do upward movements towards the eyelid for an “eyelash curling effect”.

And your eyes will look more open!"

Vichy's Liftactiv Serum 10 Eyes & Lashes is housed in a really cute little silver bottle with a pump applicator. I have to say that this products' only fault is the pump. I personally think that it pumps out way too much product. There's no way to only press the pump down half way, it's either all the way or nothing. I think that only half a pump would be enough to cover both eyes, so I end up wasting the other half of the pump every morning and night. I'm thinking about depotting this serum so there isn't as much waste!

I apply this serum to my eye area and lashes, and I've really been noticing a difference since I've started using this product! I find that this serum really does help strengthen my lashes, and brighten up my eyes. I do have dark circles underneath my eyes, so any product that helps lighten and brighten is a winner in my books! This formula sinks in quickly, and then I follow up by applying my normal eye cream on top.

Have you tried an eye or lash serum before? If you have brittle eye lashes or dark under eye circles, I would recommend trying out Vichy's Liftactiv Serum 10 Eyes & Lashes. It doesn't seem to help my lashes grow, but they do feel stronger and they look a bit thicker! :)

  2. This looks really interesting. My eyelashes are really brittle and the only way to keep them from breaking and falling out is to apply vaseline every night. I think I might have to check this is out! Great post!
