Benefit Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow Liquid Foundation

I've been cycling between a few different foundations and BB creams lately, including Benefit's Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow Liquid Foundation ($44 CAD). I first received a deluxe sized sample from Sephora, and I fell in love with the formula. I picked up this foundation from Shopper's a few months ago, so it's time to do a proper review!

"Hello...it's flawless time! Our new oil-free brightening liquid foundation builds from light to medium coverage for a natural complexion you can believe in. It's you...just more luminous & healthy looking." - Benefit

I wear the second lightest shade, which is "I'm Pure 4 Sure Ivory". The lightest shade (Believe in Me) doesn't seem to be available at Sephora. The shade range isn't super impressive, so I do hope that Benefit releases a few more colour options. This foundation comes with a pump, which is really handy. The formula includes SPF 25 PA+++, which of course is great all year round, and especially in the Summer months. This formula provides a sheer, light coverage, which basically evens out my skintone. This foundation won't cover up any blemishes, but I do like wearing it on my good skin days. This formula dries to a nice dewy finish, that you can either wear like that, or apply a powder over top for a more matte finish. I like to apply this foundation with a Sigma F80, but it also blends in nicely when using your fingers.

This formula lasts all day long on my skin, but I don't normally have any issues with my makeup lasting. I think this foundation would be better suited towards anyone with normal-dry skin. I reach for this foundation on my good skin days when I just want a light coverage. For days when I need a bit more coverage, I reach for Esteé Lauder's Double Wear.

Have you tried Benefit's Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow Liquid Foundation? Do you prefer a foundation with a light coverage, or one that offers a bit of a heavier finish?

  1. Great! I was skeptical about this foundation as I had never tried it. Since I have combo/oily skin, I don't think this would suit me as I hate seeing oil break onto my skin throughout the day.

I prefer to use a heavier coverage foundation as it covers up many of my acne marks/scars.

    1. This foundation probably wouldn't work for your needs then :( Which foundation are you currently using?

    2. Right now I"m using Covergirl 3-in-1 foundation, and testing out Kat Von D Lock it Foundation and Laura Mercier Silk Creme foundation from sephora samples

    1. It does have a dewy finish so it might not be the best pick for you! You could always ask for a sample from Sephora first though :)
