Candle Haul! Bath & Body Works and Yankee Candle

As you might know, Bath & Body Works was having their semi-annual sale recently, and I picked up a few candles! At the beginning of the sale, their had a few candles at 75% off, so I picked up Cafe du Lait and French Baguette. These have both been out for quite a while, and I've always wanted to pick up French Baguette, but not for $22.50. I was so happy to see it in the sale, it literally smells like a French bakery! Later on in the sale, I popped back into Bath & Body Works, and they had candles for $8. I also had a coupon for $10 off of a $30 purchase, so I picked up 4 large candles for just over $20!

I picked up Ice Cream Shop, which is still available. "Just like the perfect ice cream sundae - creamy vanilla, rich toffee and sweet almond blossom with a cherry on top." I also bought Mint Chocolate Chip, which literally smells exactly like the name suggests! Next I got Apple Crumble, "Baked Granny Smith and McIntosh Apples topped with vanilla crumble, cinnamon and nutmeg." Delicious! And last but certainly not least, I got Poolside, which smells like heaven. This candle smells exactly like Summer, in my opinion. A great mix of sunscreen, coconut, and sun!

I also went to buy some Yankee Candle tarts a while ago, and I thought I'd share my selections with you! I love the tarts because they are very highly scented, and because they're so cheap I can try out a lot more scents.

Golden Sands, Sugared Apple, Root Beer Float, Buttermilk Pancakes, and Black Coconut.

Granny Smith, Cookies & Cream, Red Velvet, Whoopie Pie!, Vanilla Caramel, Strawberry Buttercream, Orange Dreamsicle.

So I think I'm all set as far as candles go for quite a while! Did you pick up any candles in Bath & Body Works' recent semi annual sale? What are your favourite candle scents? Which candle should I burn first? :)

  1. I would burn poolside, golden sand and the summery ones first and save the gourmand ones for fall :)
    Love your haul

  2. I've never bought myself a proper candle before! I love the idea of them but just don't know which brand to go for or scent! I'm moving into my second year accommodation soon and think I might invest in some :)

    1. Oh you need to get some candles in your life! If you don't want to make a big investment, the small yankee candle tarts are only $1-$2 each, and Bath & Body Works has small candles for around $4 :)
