Lush Jasmin & Henna Fluff-Ease

Over the past few months I've really been trying to take better care of my hair. I've been testing out a bunch of new products, seeing which ones work for me, and which ones fall short. I've recently rediscovered Lush's Jasmin & Henna Fluff-Ease* ($22.95), and I've really been enjoying this hair mask!

How Lush describes Jasmin & Henna Fluff-Ease:

"If your hair is a little fluffy, frizzy, dry, or out-of-control, Jasmin and Henna Fluff-Ease is made for you. Our specialty hair treatment, it's packed with copious amounts of moisturizing and nutrient-filled oils including organic jojoba, almond, Brazil nut and extra virgin coconut oil. It works brilliantly on curly hair as well, as all of the oils help define the curls and add loads of shine. And if that doesn't stop passerby’s from stopping in their tracks, the jasmine fragrance will stick with you for days after using it, so you'll have irresistibly soft, shiny and sexy smelling locks."

I apply about one fifth of this pot onto my dry hair. Lush recommends using a half pot for short hair, or a full pot for long hair. My hair is just past my shoulders, and I only need about 1/5 of a pot. Using a full pot would be unnecessary, in my opinion. Jasmin & Henna Fluff-Ease does have a very strong scent, so I would recommend checking it out in a store before purchasing. I like the scent, but I don't love it. The scent seems like a mixture of jasmine and earthy tones, and it does linger in your hair even after washing it out.

I keep this mask on for about 25 minutes, and then I shampoo and condition my hair as I normally would. I skipped applying my normal hair oils and products to see the true results of this product. The frizz in my hair was reduced, but not completely vanished. My hair has a lot of body and volume, but that's not unusual for my hair. What really amazed me was how healthy my hair feels! My hair is so soft, shiny, and smooth!

If you have thick, frizzy, unmanageable hair, I highly recommend checking out Lush's Jasmin & Henna Fluff-Ease. It's helped my hair feel and look healthier, and that's all I can really ask from a hair product. Have you tried this hair treatment before? What are your favourite hair masks? :)
