Lush's Lovely Jubblies* ($25.95 CAD) is a somewhat unusual product, seeing as it is a breast cream. This essentially means that it is a firming cream. So don't be scared off by the name, because this really is a wonderful product! :)
I've heard a lot of positive reviews on Lovely Jubblies from many different bloggers and Youtubers, I just had to try it out! This firming lotion smells so nice, it's a great mix of earthy notes and florals. This scent is quite strong, so do check it out in the store before buying!
Since this is a firming cream, you can use this cream anyone you need a little toning (breasts, neck, arms, legs, etc.) I've also heard that you can use Lovely Jubblies underneath your eyes to help with firming and wrinkles. I haven't tried it for that purpose yet, but I need to! This product isn't a miracle worker, but it does leave your skin feeling incredibly smooth. I'm only 21, so I don't have that many issues with sagging skin, etc., but I still do love this cream. Preventative measures never hurt, right?! :)
If you're looking for a new firming cream, I do recommend checking out Lush's Lovely Jubblies! This cream smells really nice, and it definitely does do a great job at hydrating and moisturizing. I'm hoping that with time I'll be able to see more firming action, but in the meantime I really enjoy using this cream! Please let me know if you've tried Lush's Lovely Jubblies before, and what your favourite firming lotions are! :)
I have a nail polish named Lovely Jubbly. I just thought it was a cute rhyming name but being a Butter London it probably has a tongue in cheek meaning and I am going to have to Google this now. I was just thinking yesterday as I was using my ageless moisturizing overnight cream that I would like to have a firming cream as mine doesn't do that. And then here you are today with a firming cream! I have heard a lot of positive reviews about Lush products but I haven't tried any yet. I love orange, rose, and jasmine so I know I would love this scent.
ReplyDeleteYou should definitely try this one out! I haven't heard of the Butter London polish, I'll have to google it! :)
DeleteI did a search is what I found :
ReplyDelete"Lovely jubbly. Notice the pronunciation, 'lovely jubbly'. There is a kind of resonance there, a rhyming resonance, which is part of the attraction of the phrase.
It's a jocular exclamation. It means excellent, brilliant, great. It's the sort of thing you'd say when you got some good news or had a stroke of luck, 'ah, lovely jubbly'.
Well, would you use it? It depends whether you're influenced by television, I suppose, more than anything else. It's one of the slang phrases that was used by Dell Boy in the television series 'Only Fools and Horses', back in the 1990s. It actually goes back longer than that. These script writers are well aware of some of the earlier usages of phrases like this. In fact, you can take it right back to the 1950s, when there was an ice lolly called a jubbly, and there was an advertising catch phrase, 'lovely jubbly', and the Dell usage, I suppose, has come from that.
It later moved into London slang, mainly, I've heard it elsewhere but mainly in London, for anything that was excellent. I've heard it with reference to food - very tasty food is lovely jubbly food. Lovely jubbly antiques, there are - beautiful antiques, lovely jubbly people. And I guess these programmes are lovely jubbly programmes! "

Wow, tons of different usages & meanings! :D
DeleteI love this stuff!! It smells great and works really well for me. I find that it really helps with making stretch mark indents less noticible (only while wearing it, but I'll take what I can get! lol)
ReplyDeleteOh I haven't tried it on stretch marks, I'll need to try that out! :)
DeleteOoh this looks so interesting! Ive been wanting a firming cream but avoid all because they apparently have too many chemicals. I would definitely try this though! Do they have any smaller sizes than the 25$ one?
ReplyDeleteI think this is the only size, but Lush is great about samples so you can always ask for one! :)
