Maybelline Color Sensational High Shine Gloss - Gleaming Grenadine

I've been really into wearing red lipsticks and glosses lately, and one of my go to products has been Maybelline's Color Sensational High Shine Gloss in the shade Gleaming Grenadine*. I've used the shade Luminous Latte from the same line, and I fell in love with the formula, I had to try out more shades! I even including Gleaming Grenadine in both my Favourite Winter Lip Colours and Top 10 Spring Lip Products. This shade is just perfect all year round! :)

I love these glosses because they actually do have quite great colour payoff, but they're still incredibly shiny. These Color Sensational High Shine Glosses have a doe foot applicator which dispenses product easily and evenly. This formula is 100% wax free, and the gloss isn't sticky at all. I've never been able to find a red gloss that I didn't have to pair over top of a red lipstick, but Gleaming Grenadine doesn't need a base.

Gleaming Grenadine is a very wearable red shade. This shade has slight pink undertones, which I think makes it more wearable with my skin tone. This shade is nice and glossy and vibrant, but it isn't too in your face or bold. If you wanted a bolder look, you could pair Gleaming Grenadine over another red lipstick. This  Color Sensational High Shine Gloss from Maybelline lasts on my lips for about four hours before I have to reapply. They won't last through eating or drinking, but they don't claim to be a stain.

Maybelline's Color Sensational High Shine Gloss range consists of 12 shades, and I personally have my eyes on Electric Shock and Raspberry Reflections. I would love it if you left me a comment letting me know your favourite shades! Have you been rocking a red lip lately?
