NARS Torrid

Over this past year I've become a bit of a blush addict, and my go-to brands are Stila, Tarte, and NARS. NARS was the first brand that fueled my blush addiction, and I have quite a few different shades from the brand. I've recently rediscovered NARS' Torrid ($32), which is a coral shade with shimmers and a nude base.

NARS' blushes are very creamy and finely milled. I use a Sigma F40 to apply all of my powder blushes. This blush (along with the majority of NARS blushes) is very pigmented, so a little goes a long way! Torrid is a beautiful coral shade that has nude undertones, making it very wearable. If you find other NARS shades like Orgasm and Deep Throat too bright, then Torrid might be right up your alley. I find Torrid to be quite similar to Deep Throat, just with less shimmer, and Torrid gives a slightly more natural look. I really like using NARS' Albatross as a highlighter over top of Torrid.

NARS' Torrid does have some shimmer in the formula, but it is very subtle. Even if you don't like shimmer, I think you should still check out this blush. NARS' blushes last all day long on my cheeks, without fading or oxidizing. If you haven't tried NARS' blushes before, you're missing out! They are definitely some of my all-time favourites. You need the tiniest amount of product, so the pan should last you ages.

Have you tried NARS' Torrid before? What are your favourite NARS blushes? :)

  1. Really this color! Great review.

  2. Thanks for reminding me that I own this blush haha! I don't know why I haven't worn it lately.. perhaps the shimmer? Nonetheless, I'm definitely going to bring it out again x

    1. You should definitely pull it out and start using it again! :)
