Sephora + Pantone Light Storm Liquid Shadow - Caramel Cream

I have been absolutely loving Sephora + Pantone's Light Storm Liquid Shadow in the shade Smoky Purple* (reviewed here), and I've also been trying out the shade Caramel Cream* ($22 CAD). These new liquid shadows are excellent bases to layer other powder shadows over top of. Caramel Cream is a more neutral shade, which I think most people would get a lot of use out of.

"What it is: A long-lasting liquid eye shadow formula with color-shifting hues and incomparable shine.

What it does: This unique color-shifting formula alters hues depending on the angle of view and available lighting to create a dramatic, multidimensional look. The lightweight, crease-resistant liquid pigments add a mega-chromatic wash of color to the eye. This stunning formula blends evenly into skin and dries quickly for long-lasting, ultra impressive wear."

Caramel Cream is a beautiful bronze shade with golden shimmers. This liquid shadow formula glides on easily with the doe foot applicator. I use about two coats to get a deeper colour, but you could use only one coat for a lighter shade. You can wear Caramel Cream on its' own, but I like to pair other powder shadows over top. I especially like pairing shadows from Urban Decay's Naked Palette over Caramel Cream.

The Light Storm Liquid Shadows last all day on my eyes without a primer. I personally never use a primer when I'm wearing cream shadows. I think Caramel Cream is a beautiful shade that is a bit more exciting that a neutral shade. This light bronze shade has slight shimmer, which looks beautiful on the eyes.

Have you picked up any of the three shades of the Light Storm Liquid Eyeshadows? What are your favourite eye bases? :)

  1. That is such a pretty gold, bronze color! And the color of your eyes! I'm so jealous X)
