Bioderma Hydrabio Tonique

I've been using spray toners for the past few months, but I've recently gone back to using a traditional toner. My toner of choice has been Bioderma's Hydrabio Tonique* ($24.50 CAD), which has launched this month. The new Hydrabio range is targeted towards sensitive and dehydrated skin types. My skin can be sensitive, but it's not a major issue of mine. I do have combination skin with the odd break-out.

"A Bioderma innovation, the patented Aquagenium® biological complex re-trains the skin to generate in depth the hydration essential to its natural balance and to lock it in on its surface." - Bioderma

I pour a bit of this toner to a cotton ball, and then apply it to my entire face after cleansing. This toner will remove any last trace of makeup that might be left on your skin after cleansing. In the past, I've found that toners generally leave my skin feeling quite tight and dry, but this one from Bioderma doesn't do that at all. This toner leaves my skin feeling refreshed and clean, but not tight. I then follow up with my serum and moisturizer.

Bioderma's Hydrabio Tonique works quite well at reducing the size of pores, which I am very happy about. My pores tend to be the largest around my nose, and I have noticed a decrease in the size of those pores since using this toner. This formula is very gentle, so I think that it would make a great addition to almost anyone's skin care routine, even someone with very sensitive skin.

Do you use a toner? What are your favourite formulas? :)
