Favourite Dry Shampoos

Dry shampoos seem to have gotten quite popular over the past year or two, and today I'm bringing you my top four formulas! I personally like to stick to drugstore options for dry shampoos, as there are a ton of great options available at reasonable prices. I remember about two years ago, the only dry shampoo I could find at the drugstore was Tresemme's (which I don't recommend). However, now there are a ton more options! I personally only use dry shampoos on second or third day hair to absorb excess oils. My hair already is fairly voluminous, so I don't turn towards dry shampoos for added volume.

1. Not Your Mother's Clean Freak Refreshing Dry Shampoo - I picked this in New York, as I don't think this brand is available in Canada. This formula leaves a slight white cast, but it brushes out very easily. This one leaves my hair feeling soft and refreshed, and absorbs oils really well.

2. Garnier Fructis Volume Extend Instant Bodifier Dry Shampoo* (reviewed here) - This is the only dry shampoo in aerosol form that goes on my hair with absolutely no white cast! It applies completely invisible, which is awesome for everyone, especially everyone who isn't blonde. This formula has a really great scent to it, slightly fruity. This is a great option for days when you are about to run out the door, and you don't have any time to fuss with products.

3. Suave Keratin Infusion Dry Shampoo - This is another product that I picked up in New York, and sadly it isn't available in Canada. I found out about this product & line from the girls over at Her Late Night Cravings, and I absolutely love this product! This does leave a bit of a white powder, but again it brushes out really easily. This one also has a nice light "salon" scent, which I love.

4. Dove's Refresh + Care Invigorating Dry Shampoo - I'm actually on my second bottle of this stuff, that's how much I love it! I find that this formula does a great job at absorbing oils and adding volume and texture. I do think that the scent of this formula is quite strong, which I'm not a huge fan of. However, that's the only downfall, and I still think this is one of the best dry shampoos on the market!

So those are my four favourite dry shampoos! I'm always wanting to try out the newest formulas, so I would love to know what your recommendations are :) What do you use dry shampoos for?
