I've recently been introduced to a new-to-me brand, Institut Estherderm, and I've been trying out their Osmoclean Pure Cleansing Foam* ($57.50 CDN). The brand suggests that this facial cleanser is a "rich foam that makes the cleansing step a real pleasure and a daily moment of well-being". I've been using this cleanser over the past couple of weeks, and I've really been enjoying it!
All of Institut Esthederm's products are packaged beautifully and they look like they belong in a spa! The packaging for their Osmoclean Pure Cleansing Foam is very simple, which I actually quite like. My skin is fairly normal, and I get the occasional break out. I can normally use almost any cleanser without any major issues, my skin isn't too picky. Institut Esthederm's Osmoclean Pure Cleansing Foam has a very nice, clean and fresh scent to it, but it isn't very strong. I use one pump on damp skin, work it in for a few seconds, and then a rinse it off. I remove my eye makeup first with Bioderma, since I do use waterproof liquid liner. This foaming cleanser removes all of my face makeup and leaves my skin feeling very clean but not dry.
A lot of people are scared to use foaming cleansers because they think they will dry out their skin. I haven't found this to be true at all with my skin. I really love how this foaming cleanser lifts off my makeup and leaves my skin feeling fresh. Institut Esthederm can be found at 400 different points of sales (treatment centers and spas in Quebec and the rest of Canada, as well as at La Maison Ogilvy in downtown Montreal). Their products are quite pricey, and I wouldn't normally spend almost $60 on a cleanser, but I do think that this makes a great spa-like product. I've you're in the market for a new pampering, luxurious cleanser, definitely check out Institut Esthederm! Have you tried any of their products before?
We've never heard of this brand before so thanks for telling us about something new to us. :-)
