Institut Esthderm Intensif Propolis Serum

Over the past few months, I've been switching up a lot of my skin care, trying to get my skin in it's best possible shape! One of my favourite skin care products is serums, and I've recently fallen in love with Institut Esthderm's Intensif Propolis Serum* ($80 CAD/30ml). This formula is geared towards anyone with acne-prone skin.

It seems so counter intuitive to be applying thick, oily products onto acne prone skin, but these types of products can actually be quite beneficial! Esthederm's Intensif Propolis Serum is a thick, oily serum that I apply every night after cleansing and toning my face. I do find that this product takes a few minutes to sink into my skin, which is why I only use it at night. This serum helps to hydrate my skin while keeping unwanted oils under control. I've definitely seen a difference and improvement in the texture of my skin since I started using this serum. I have been changing up a few different aspects of my skin care recently, but I do know that I love how this serum feels on my skin. I do like to follow up with a moisturizer, but if you had really oily skin you might not need to.

This serum comes packaged in a glass bottle with a pipette dispenser. I've been using this serum for about 5 weeks, and I've barely made a dent in my bottle, so this should last me quite a while! This product is quite similar to SkinCeutical's Phloretin CF (reviewed here), but Esthederm's formula is more hydrating.

Have you tried Institut Esthderm's Intensif Propolis Serum? What is your current go-to serum? :)
