Nicole by OPI Carrie'd Away

Nicole by OPI is teaming up with Carrie Underwood(!!!) for an upcoming collection, hitting stores in January 2014. As a huge country music fan, of course I was excited about this collaboration! Today I have Carrie's signature shade, Carrie'd Away* to share with you :)

Carrie'd Away is a beautiful gold glitter polish. The gold glitter pieces are suspended in a clear base, and I was able to achieve a fully opaque look in three coats. This formula is on the thicker side, and took an extra few minutes to fully dry. I think that this polish is absolutely beautiful, I just love gold nails. I thinkthat Carrie'd Away would make a great accent nail, paired with another pink or nude polish.

This collection isn't releasing for a little while, but I'm really excited to try out the rest of the shades! I think that this polish is super pretty, and is perfect to wear on it's own, or as an accent nail. Nicole by OPI's wide brush made application really easy, and it might just be my favourite nail polish brush! It's a bit wider than OPI's regular brush, and I find that makes it possible to cover your entire nail in one swipe.

Are you excited about the collaboration between Nicole by OPI and Carrie Underwood? The collection includes 14 shades, so there's bound to be something for everyone! This new collection also includes the debut of the new Nicole logo on each of the bottles (which hasn't changed yet on my promo bottle).

*Fun fact: My best friend and I have an agreement that if we ever find ourselves at a karaoke bar we will sing a duet of Carrie Underwood's Jesus Take the Wheel. Cause that's completely normal...*

  3. That is so pretty! I love opaque glitters like this! I agree, it would look great as an accent nail against a nude polish :) x
