It's been a while since I've opted for a nude nail, but when I saw Sally Hansen's Stocking Nude* ($8.95 CAD) I just needed it on my nails! This polish is a part of the new collaboration with Rodarte, and the polishes are available this month. It's kind of refreshing to go for a nude polish every now and again :)
This season for the first time ever, Rodarte turned to Sally Hansen to create exclusive nail polish shades that are inspired by their highly anticipated Fall 2013 collection. On the runway, Rodarte used the Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure Collection to create a unique nail look for the show—a French manicure created with an edgy twist. Models walked the runway with a nude base and different coloured metallic tips on each nail, creating an ombre effect." - Sally Hansen
Stocking Nude is a beautiful light beige polish with an amazing formula. I absolutely love the wide brush on Sally Hansen's Complete Salon Manicure polishes, they make painting your nails so easy! This polish dries to a very shiny finish, thanks to the built in top coat. When I wear these polishes, I skip a separate top coat, and my polish still lasts quite a while! I used three coats of Stocking Nude for an opaque finish, but I probably could have stopped at 2. I find that Stocking Nude compliments my skin tone, rather than making me look dead.
Have you spotted Sally Hansen's Rodarte collaboration yet? There are two other polishes in the line, including Platinum Star and Gold Roses. Are you a fan of nude nails?
LOVE Sally Hansen nail polishes. I like this color a lot - it looks kind of like Essie's Sand Tropez!

They're great aren't they?! I haven't tried that shade from Essie, but it does seem similar from reviews I've seen! :)
