1. Bite Beauty High Pigment Pencil in Pomegranate - This is a gorgeous true red shade that comes in pencil form. These pencils make application super easy, and this formula stays on my lips for quite a long time.
2. Stila Color Balm Lipstick in Sonya (reviewed here) - I absolutely love everything about this lipstick! The formula is very creamy and moisturizing, and the shade is a beautiful dusty mauve.
3. AERIN Beauty Lipstick in Mercer* - This shade is a very wearable vampy purple. Mercer is slightly sheer, so I think this is the perfect lipstick for anyone just venturing into wearing darker lips.
4. Dior Addict Ultra-Gloss in 982 Black-Tie Plum - This gloss is a beautiful glistening deep plum shade. I really like pairing this over a lipstick, especially MAC's Rebel. However, this gloss is very pigmented, and can definitely be worn on it's own.
5. OCC Lip Tar in Strumpet (reviewed here) - This shade is absolutely gorgeous, and even though it looks quite dark in the tube, it does apply a bit lighter on the lips. This is my first Lip Tar, and I'm already wanting to add more to my collection!
6. YSL Glossy Stain #1 Violet Edition - This is a very vampy shade, and I prefer to wear it on nights out. If you haven't tried this Glossy Stain from YSL before, I highly recommend them! I'm wanting to pick up another shade in Sephora's Friends and Family sale, so please leave me your shade recommendations in a comment!
7. MAKE UP FOR EVER Rouge Artist Intense #46* (reviewed here) - This shade is a beautiful satin red colour with a high shine finish. I love this line of lipsticks from MUFE, they have amazing pigmentation and a great colour selection.
Swatched in the same order that they are being reviewed!
8. MAKE UP FOR EVER Aqua Rouge #9 Burgundy* - I really love this Aqua Rouge line from MUFE, they come packaged with two ends, one with the colour, and the other end with a clear gloss. These lip products are incredibly long-wearing, and even last through eating and drinking. #9 Burgundy is a very flattering shade, and is somewhere between a red and a berry.
9. MAC Rebel (reviewed here) - This shade looks very dark in the bullet, but it swatches like more of a bright purple. This is a classic shade for Fall, so I know that I'm not presenting anything overly unique here! But I still love it :)
10. AERIN Beauty Lip Gloss in Morning Light* - This gloss is great for anyone who wants to rock a nude lip. This formula is very hydrating, and the shimmer in the formula is very flattering. I also like to layer this gloss over top of vampy shades to lighten them a little bit.
11. IT Cosmetics Your Lips But Better Waterproof Lip Liner Stain in Cherry Flush* - This lip liner works well with pretty much any red lipstick that I have in my collection! This liner really does help keep my lipstick from feathering or wandering all over my face.
12. IT Cosmetics Vitality Gloss Stain in Inspiring Red* - I love the formula of this gloss, and it has a subtle vanilla scent to it. Inspiring Red applies semi sheer, so it's great on its own, or layered over lipstick. This shade is quite shimmery, which I really like!
13. Estée Lauder Pure Color High Intensity Lip Lacquer in Amber Halo* - This is a great nude shade that is quite long-wearing. This is a very pigmented lip gloss, so it doesn't need to be layered over top of a lipstick.
So there are my top lip picks for Fall 2013! I would love to know what products you've been reaching for lately, and what shades you recommend. Have you tried any of the products that I've been loving? :)
love how they're all pinky purple colours :) xx
