Lush Lord of Misrule

Today I have another product from Lush's Halloween lineup to share with you! Lord of Misrule* ($5.95) is a beautiful green bath bomb with a purple core. You might know that I actually only have a shower, not a bath, so I ended up using this product as an emotibomb! Lush used to sell emotibomb, which are essentially bath bombs for your shower, which release a ton of fragrance!

"Inspired by the ruler of the Pagan Feast of Fools, Lord of Misrule brings mischievous revelry to the tub with a spicy herbal blend of patchouli and black pepper oil. As it slowly froths in the water, hypnotic swirling silver luster is released and the deep green exterior soon gives way to a rich, wine-colored center. Just like at the Feast of Fools, when the wine begins flowing, the revelry really begins! Popping candies fizz and crackle, creating a world of magic and mischief right before your eyes." - Lush

Lush's Lord of Misrule has a beautiful scent, a nice mix of patchouli, black pepper, and vanilla. The pepper notes are quite subtle, so don't let that scare you away!  I adore this scent, I wish that Lush had a similarly scented shower gel (let me know if they do!). The outer green shell dissolves somewhat quickly, revealing a beautiful wine coloured core. This bath bomb would turn your bath a beautiful berry shade. Lord of Misrule also has popping candy in the ingredients, which I thought was really fun! The scent of this bath bomb filled up my entire bathroom, and it took about 20 minutes to fully dissolve when used as an emotibomb.

Have you tried Lush's Lord of Misrule? Are you more a fan of bath bombs or bubble bars? :) Lord of Misrule will be around for the Christmas season as well, and I highly recommend giving it a try!

  5. I love taking baths in the colder months but it is such a time-consuming luxury. Nice to know there are other ways to use this in the shower as well. I like Lush bubble bars more than bath bombs. I just find them more moisturizing overall.
