Mixed Chicks Leave In Conditioner

I have quite dry and frizzy hair, so I'm always looking for products to help make my hair more manageable and less frizzy. I've been trying out Mixed Chicks' Leave In Conditioner* ($16.99 - $19.99) for the past few weeks, and I thought I would share my thoughts on it with you today. I have used a conditioner from Mixed Chicks before, but this is the first styling product that I've used from the brand. For the month of October, $1 from any bottles sold with this pink cap go towards Breast Cancer awareness and research.

"Innovators in hair care, Kim and Wendi of Mixed Chicks are at it again! In recognition of Breast Cancer awareness month Mixed Chicks packaged their infamous Leave- in Conditioner with a PINK cap. From every purchase of a 10 oz. bottle of leave-in conditioner $1.00 is being donated to Save the Ta-Tas Foundation for breast cancer research. Whether you are at work, working out or hanging with girlfriends, wherever you are, you are helping find a cure for breast cancer!" - Mixed Chicks

First of all, this leave in conditioner comes in a humongous 10oz. bottle! It would seriously take ages to go through a bottle this size, especially when you only need a small amount for each application. I like to apply about a raisin sized amount to my damp hair after shampooing and conditioning. I still like to apply a hair oil, followed by this leave in conditioner. I find that this product really helps to soften my hair, and it makes it much more manageable and less prone to tangles. This product doesn't have much of a scent to it, which I can appreciate since it won't mix poorly with any of my other hair products. This leave in conditioner is meant for anyone with wavy or curly hair, and I definitely think that it helps my waves become more defined.

If you curly or unruly hair, I would definitely recommend giving this Leave In Conditioner from Mixed Chicks a try! I find that the price is very reasonable, especially considering how much product you're receiving. This product can also be used on synthetic hair or weaves, as well as human hair. Have you tried this product before? What are your favourite products to keep your hair looking its best? :)

  1. I've never tried leave-in conditioner before - I never really knew where to even start looking for a good one. I think I'll try this one - it sounds really good!
