Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush - Thankful

Since today is Thanksgiving Monday here in Canada, I thought that it would be fitting to share my thoughts on Tarte's Amazonian Clay Blush in the shade Thankful with you! This shade is limited edition, and I bought it as a part of Tarte's Thoughtful Treasures Set ($23 CAD).

Tarte's Amazonian Clay Blush in Thankful is a beautiful bright pink shade with a golden sheen. This blush is quite pigmented, so a little bit definitely goes a long way. So even though this is a mini version, containing 1.5g, this blush should still last me quite a while!  I use a Sigma F40 to apply all of my powder blushes. This shade has slight coral undertones, which I think makes this blush a bit more wearable and universal. What I love most about Tarte's Amazonian Clay Blushes is the incredible wear-time. These blushes stay on my cheeks all day long, only starting to fade around the 9 hour mark. Thankful doesn't oxidize throughout the day, the colour stays true all day long. Now, I don't have oily skin, so that might be contributing to the longevity of this blush.

Sheered out on the left, one swipe from the pan on the right

I really like wearing Tarte's Thankful on days when I want a bright pop of colour on my cheeks! This blush can be sheered out and toned down a bit as well. Have you picked up Tarte's Thoughtful Treasures set? What is your favourite Tarte blush shade?

Have a great Thanksgiving! :)

  5. Stunning shade - looks absolutely amazing on you. It's a shame it's relatively tricky to get hold of in the UK, let's hope eBay or Amazon has it :o). Xx
