The Body Shop Honeymania Eau De Toilette

The Body Shop is releasing their brand new Honeymania Collection, and today I have their Eau De Toilette* ($14 CAD/1oz) to share with you! I was really excited to try out this new line, and to see The Body Shop's take on the traditional honey scent. In my opinion, they hit a home run with this scent!

"Honey is Mother Nature’s gourmand secret. Prized for its deliciously sweet taste and aroma, honey is also
a natural moisturiser, known for its ability to soften, smooth and nourish skin. Our rich, moisturising Community Fair Trade honey comes from the Ethiopian rainforest. It’s organically hand-harvested from only the ripest honeycombs, ensuring exceptional quality, good-enough-to-eat honey that’s rich in nourishment. This natural goodness is drizzled into our delectable Honeymania™ products so you can sink sumptuous moisture into your skin.

Our Sheka honey has a very distinctive taste and smell because of the fragrant rainforest flowers that the bees collect the nectar from. Its light floral aroma makes it distinct from any other honey.

Spritz on this light eau de toilette for deliciously floral-scented skin. Each bottle contains Community Fair Trade honey made from the nectar of wildflowers." - The Body Shop

I normally love the traditional sweet honey scent, but that might be a bit heavy for an everyday perfume. I was pleasantly surprised by this scent, it has fairly heavy floral tones. The Body Shop used Sheka honey in this line, which I've never heard of or smelt before. This scent is highly fragranced (potent?), so I only use one spray. This scent lasts on my skin for about 5 hours before I feel the need to reapply, which is great considering it's an EDT. I think that this scent is perfect for Fall and Winter, since it does have some heavier notes in it. The sweet notes mix incredibly well with the floral tones, creating a beautiful fragrance.

Are you going to be checking out The Body Shop's new Honeymania Collection? Definitely give this line a sniff, since I think this scent will surprise a lot of people. I love this new take on the honey scent, and I know that I'll be reaching for this perfume all season long! :)
