Essie Jazzy Jubilant

Essie has released two new polishes to their Luxeffects line, and today I have the shade Jazzy Jubilant* to share with you! Essie's Luxeffects are generally top coats, so I chose to layer Jazzy Jubilant over top of OPI's Did You 'Ear About Van Gogh? (reviewed here), but of course you could layer this glitter over top of almost any polish!

Essie Jazzy Jubilant

"This hyperkinetic chromatic glitter is part jazz-age shimmer, part space-age glamour and all the rage.Getting ready to dance the night away? Jazzy Jubilant sets the tone with a profusion of confetti-like glitter to reflect your celebratory spirit and if it’s attention you seek, then there’s nothing like a little sparkle on top. So go ahead, layer it on, experiment with different shade combinations – try a high contrast shade for a dramatic, bold look or choose a complementary shade for subtle tone-on-tone glamour. With so many ways to wear Luxeffects, no two manicures are exactly alike, making it easy to create a signature look that stands out
from the crowd." - Essie

Essie Jazzy Jubilant swatch

Essie's Jazzy Jubilant is a beautiful glitter polish suspended in a clear base. There are medium and small sized emerald, silver, and magenta glitter pieces. I found that even with one coat (as shown in the photos), I was left with a very nice amount of glitter on my nails. Each nail will end up looking very different, but overall i think that it's a pretty look. I really like how Jazzy Jubilant looks over a nude like OPI's Did You 'Ear About Van Gogh?, but I also can't wait to try it out over more colourful polishes. Over a nude polish you can really see the beautiful colours of the glitter though!

Essie's Jazzy Jubilant should be in stores and salons now, as a part of the Luxeffects line! What would you pair Essie's Jazzy Jubilant with? If you had any specific polishes that you wanted to layer it over, please let me know and I'll do my best to swatch it for you! :)

  2. I love glitter polishes but they're such a pain in the butt to take off. Although this would look amazing over a black polish for a holiday party :]

    1. I find that just wearing a glitter top coat instead of a full on glitter polish makes removal a lot easier! :)
