Essie Peak of Chic

Today I have another polish to share with you from Essie's Encrusted Treasures Collection, Peak of Chic*. This polish immediately caught my attention in the bottle, and it reminded my somewhat of one of my favourite OPI polishes, Save Me. Essie describes Peak of Chic as "alpine white holographic rainbow fringe" and I decided to layer this glitter over top of Sephora by OPI's Break A Leg-Warmer!

"Ascend the pinnacle of fashion and freeze your well-manicured assets with this alpine white holographic rainbow crystal fringe." - Essie

Peak of Chic is a beautiful holographic bar glitter polish. I've seen other bloggers use several coats of this polish on its' own, but I thought that it might look better used as a glitter top coat. Sephora by OPI's Break a Leg-Warmer! is a beautiful slate grey with blue undertones, and I think that this combo is perfect for Fall and Winter! I used one coat of Peak of Chic, but you can definitely build up several coats for a denser look. I'm really wanting to experiment with Essie's Peak of Chic, I think that it would love amazing paired over a red for the holidays, or a white base for a snowy effect. I found it really easy to get the bar glitter fairly even on all of my nails. I didn't need to fish around for any glitter pieces, which I was really happy about!

Have you picked up any polishes from Essie's Encrusted Treasures Collection? What would you pair Peak of Chic over top of? :)
