Favourite Fall/Winter Nail Polishes

Nail polish is a great accessory all year round, but I really do have fun playing with deeper, darker shades in the Fall and Winter seasons. Today I'll be sharing with you my favourite nail polishes for the Fall & Winter months this year!

Left to Right: Sally Hansen Gold Roses, Estee Lauder Chocolate Foil, Illamasqua Stagnate, NARS Vertebra Right, OPI You Don't Know Jacques!, OPI Suzi Loves Cowboys

Sally Hansen Gold Roses* (reviewed here) - This polish is just gorgeous. This rose gold foil is pure perfection, and if you can still find it, definitely pick it up!

Estée Lauder Pure Color Vivid Shine Nail Lacquer in Chocolate Foil* - reviewed here - This is a gorgeous chrome-foil polish in a great deep brown hue with slight purple undertones. This shade is very rich and I find that it's a wearable brown for lighter skin tones.

Illamasqua Stagnate - reviewed here - This polish is a beautiful greige colour - a taupe with purple undertones. This cream formula does require three coats for full coverage, and I always layer on a top coat for an extra shiny finish.

NARS Vertebra Right* - reviewed here - This polish came in a duo with a coral polish as a part of NARS' Pierre Hardy Collection earlier this year. This is another griege shade, but I find that Vertebra Right has a dusty pink quality to it.

OPI You Don't Know Jacques! - reviewed here - This is a beautiful brown polish with purple and grey undertones. The formula is a bit thin, so three coats is necessary.

OPI Suzi Loves Cowboys - reviewed here - This polish is a gorgeous deep chocolate brown shade. I find that this colour is very flattering, and the formula is really great!

Left to Right: Essie Shearling Darling, OPI Cuckoo for this Color, OPI Road House Blues, Deborah Lippmann Cleopatra in New York, Bourjois So Laque Glossy - 05 Taupe modèle, Sally Hansen Loden Green

Essie Sable Collar* - reviewed here - This was my favourite polish from Essie's Shearling Darling Winter 2013 Collection, it's just beautiful! This is such a unique shade, you really need to see it in person for yourself.

OPI Cuckoo for this Color - This polish is a beautiful deep shimmering emerald. This shade was released as a part of OPI's Swiss Collection a few years back, and I'm still loving it now!

OPI Road House Blues - reviewed here - I reach for this polish a lot! I find that it makes such a great base to layer glitter polishes over, but it's also beautiful on its' own. I love deep navy shades like this one, and Road House Blues isn't too dark that it looks black.

Deborah Lippmann Cleopatra in New York - reviewed here - This black and gold glitter polish is just stunning! I think that this polish will be perfect to wear to a holiday party!

Bourjois So Laque Glossy in 05 Taupe modèle - This is a pretty grey-mushroom cream shade with a high shine finish. I love this formula from Bourjois, it lasts a really long time on my nails!

Sally Hansen Loden Green* - reviewed here - This is a beautiful olive cream shade. Sally Hansen's Complete Salon Manicure formula is just amazing, and I love the wide brush - it makes application super easy!

So there you have it, the polishes that I'm going to be reaching for most over the next couple of months! As you can tell, I'm really into the greige trend right now! I wear a lot of bright, neon polishes in the warmer months, and now I'm switching over to darker, more vampy polishes. What nail polishes have you been loving lately? :)
