Favourite Perfumes for Fall/Winter 2013

Over the past year I've really started getting into wearing perfume every day, I just can't leave home without it now! Today I'll be sharing my my top perfume picks for Fall/Winter 2013. I wrote a similar post last year, which you can view here. In the colder months I look for scents that are a bit warmer and deeper.

Marc Jacobs Honey EDP* ($80/1.7oz) - This is a fragrance that I've been lusting over for so long, the bottle is just so cute! With honey and vanilla notes, this fragrance was made for me.

"This buzzing fragrance energizes with the freshness of green pear and a bright splash of fruity punch and juicy mandarin. Orange blossom resides at the heart of the fragrance and mingles with the nectars of honeysuckle and peach for a note of sparkling femininity. Honey, vanilla, and smooth woods dry down to a warm, golden base.
Notes: Pear, Juicy Mandarin, Orange Blossom, Peach Nectar, Apricot, Honeysuckle, Honey, Golden Vanilla, Smooth Woods. " - Sephora

Katy Perry Killer Queen EDP* ($59/1.7oz) - I absolutely love this perfume bottle too! This scent is quite deep and sweet, it's definitely a scent that I will reserve for the colder months or a night out.

"Killer Queen by Katy Perry is an intoxicating and charmingly playful floriental fragrance with luscious notes fit for royalty. Inspired by a Queen’s scepter, the jewel-shaped bottle portrays sexy sophistication and luxury. The rich gold crown cap showcases a custom crest capturing Katy Perry’s playful essence.

Notes:
Wild Berries, Red Velvet Flower." - Sephora

Benefit So Hooked On Carmella EDT* ($36/30ml) - reviewed here - This perfume also combines floral and vanilla notes, which I love. I really like how this scent mixes with my body chemistry, and this is a great every-day scent.

"Exquisitely feminine floral vanilla, A poem to describe Carmella...when it comes to carmella
don't ask and don't tella light touch has admirers under her spell her sweet sensuality
no one would guess so exquisite, enticing... an intimate caress.

Top notes: lemon, grapefruit, rhubarb
Middle notes: cyclamen, peony, tiare flower
Bottom notes: vanilla, sandalwood, amber" - Benefit

Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb EDP ($30/0.33oz rollerball) - This perfume is a cult favourite, and now I know why everyone loves it! This scent is very floral (hence the name Flowerbomb), but I find it to be very wearable and not too strong.

"This floral explosion releases a profusion of flowers that has the power to make everything seem more positive. Magically evocative notes immediately awaken your deepest senses, giving you the impression of living life in your own secret garden, away from reality. Sambac jasmine, centifolia rose, cattleya orchid, and ballerina freesia bloom on a base of patchouli.

Notes:
Sambac Jasmine, Centifolia Rose, Cattleya Orchid, Ballerina Freesia, Patchouli." - Sephora

Roberto Cavalli EDP ($82/1.7oz.) - Oh my gosh. This is one of my all-time favourite scents! I just have a rollerball of this scent, but I really want to get a full size bottle. This perfume is the perfect blend of sexy and sweet, I really love it.

"Roberto Cavalli embodies glamour, femininity and sexiness. This ambery floral fragrance illuminates with pink peppercorn, orange flower absolute and roasted tonka beans. Don't go unnoticed! with the Roberto Cavalli 50ml eau de parfum" - The Bay

Jennifer Aniston EDP ($31/1oz) - reviewed here - I've been reaching for this fragrance almost every single day this past month or two, I just love it. I have about a third of my bottle left, and I might just have to repurchase when I run out!

"In the creation of her debut fragrance, Jennifer Aniston called to mind her earliest and most beloved recollections of scent. Evoking memories of sunny days at the beach and happy summer nights, this captivating composition includes light, blooming floral notes set against a sensual base of musk and woods.

Notes:
Citrus Grove Accord, Rose Water, Jasmine, Violet, Amazon Lily, Musk, Amber, Sandalwood." - Sephora

The Body Shop Honeymania EDT* ($14/1oz) - reviewed here - This is a very interesting take on the traditional honey scent, as it's mixed with floral notes. This fragrance is very affordable, and I think that it would make a great stocking stuffer for the upcoming holidays!

"Spritz on this light eau de toilette for deliciously floral-scented skin. Each bottle contains Community Fair Trade honey made from the nectar of wildflowers." - The Body Shop

Demeter Christmas Bouquet Cologne Spray* ($20/1oz) - This is definitely a scent made for the holiday season! I like to use these Demeter scents as room sprays, but they can also be used as perfumes.

"A swirl of Holiday flowers without even a touch of green. The heart of this fragrance is made from natural carnations, which give it a unique spiciness and creaminess. Flowers are always a popular part of any Christmas celebration, but they are usually chosen for color, to add a “look” to the celebration. Not surprisingly, we at Demeter wanted to make sure we chose our flowers for scent, and created the kind of irresistible Holiday bouquet only Demeter can." - Demeter

So those are my top fragrance picks for Fall/Winter 2013! Have you tried any of these fragrances? I would love to know which perfumes you've been reaching for lately, and which perfumes are currently on your wishlist! :)
