OPI Vesper

I was going through my nail polish collection recently, trying to decide what to wear next, and I came across OPI's Vesper. This polish was released as a part of OPI's Bond Girls Collection earlier this year, and I've realized that I've never reviewed it! This polish might be hard to find now, but I figured I'd still review it anyways. You can always find older OPI polishes online or in salons :)

OPI's Vesper is a Liquid Sand polish, meaning that it dries very quickly to a granite sand-like finish. Vesper is comprised of a dark vampy purple jelly base and black glitter. I did find that this polish didn't dry to as gritty of a finish as I'm used to from the rest of OPI's Liquid Sand polishes. You do have a slightly textured finish, but it isn't as noticeable. I decided to skip the top coat this time, and this polish does dry to a fairly matte finish. I used two coats of Vesper for an opaque finish, and this polish does look almost black in some lighting. Though if you're out in natural sunlight, you'll be able to tell that you're wearing a deep purple shade.

Do you own OPI's Vesper from the Bond Girls Collection? Are you a fan of OPI's Liquid Sand formula?

  2. This was one of the standout shades for me. It's just so unusual. I loved the bond girls collection. I was a little disappointed with the Mariah Carey sand collection from early this year. Xx

    1. Isn't it pretty? :) Oh that's too bad! I've liked the polishes that I've tried from her holiday collection so far!
