Real Techniques Stippling Brush

I've been really curious about the Real Techniques brush line for quite a while, and I've been testing out a few of these brushes over the past month or so. This brush line was started by Samantha Chapman, of Pixiwoo on Youtube, so it's really great to be able to support a fellow beauty lover! This line of brushes is affordable, yet they're still great quality. Today I'll be sharing my thoughts on the Real Techniques Stippling Brush* ($10.99 CAD).

"This dual-fiber brush is the trade secret for creating airbrushed, high-definition results with all types of makeup:
  • look pixel-perfect even in harsh light
  • ultra-plush, synthetic bristles are hand-cut and 100% cruelty-free
  • self-standing for easy storage
  • extended aluminum handle is light and easy to use" - Real Techniques

This Stippling Brush is made of synthetic brushes, which I really love! These brushes prove that there's no reason to use animal hair to create makeup brushes. The aluminum handle is curved in the middle, making it fit nicely into your hands. This brush has a wide base, allowing it to stand upright. However, I personally store my brushes in an old Bath & Body Works glass candle jar! This brush has both long and short bristles, which helps to create a flawless application. I like to use this Stippling Brush to apply cream blushes, as I find that it picks up just the right amount of product. This brush works perfectly with Josie Maran's Coconut Watercolor Cheek Gelées, it's the only way that I've been applying that blush! I have used this brush to apply foundation, and it does work well for that purpose too. However, I do prefer my Sigma F80 to apply my foundation, as the bristles are a bit denser on the Sigma brush.

Overall, I think that this brush is great for anyone you loves cream blushes, and I think that the price point it amazing. This brush washes very well, and I haven't had any of the bristles fall out. Have you tried any Real
Techniques brushes? Which ones are your favourites? :)

  4. I recently tried and reviewed the Real Techniques Your Eyes/Enhanced Started Set. I absolutely LOVE these brushes. They're great. I also agree with what you said about how these brushes prove that you don't need to use animal hair brushes. Have you tried the Eye starter set yet? It's really lovely.

    Anyway, great review!

  6. Great review! I wish WalMart would sell individual brushes instead of just the sets.

    1. Thanks! I know, I wish they sold them individually as well! There always seems to be one brush I don't really want/need in every set.
