SkinCeuticals AOX+ Eye Gel

I've been using a new eye cream from SkinCeuticals for about the past 2 months, that I've been absolutely loving! Their AOX+ Eye Gel* ($87 CAD/15ml) is a new addition to the brand, and it is part of the prevention line. Now, I am only 21, so I don't have wrinkles or too many fine lines, so I love the idea of a preventative item.

SkinCeuticals AOX+ Eye Gel

"This breakthrough serum-in-a-gel contains a synergistic antioxidant combination to help protect the delicate eye area from oxidative stress, while targeted actives revive under-eye skin and reduce the appearance of puffiness.

Prevents signs of aging.
Corrects signs of photodamage.
Helps reduce the appearance of puffiness and under-eye bags.
Combats signs of fatigue to restore a fresh, vibrant appearance." - SkinCeuticals

SkinCeuticals AOX+ Eye Gel

SkinCeuticals' AOX+ Eye Gel is a clear gel formula that comes packaged in a pump bottle. I take one pump, which is enough for both of my eyes. This formula sinks in quickly, and leaves my under eye area feeling hydrated. SkinCeuticals' recommends using this only once a day, in the morning, which is what I have been doing. I use Vichy's ProEven Daily Eye Corrector every night, and I've been loving this product as well. SkinCeuticals' AOX+ Eye Gel contains caffeine, which helps reduce the appearance of under-eye bags. I find that I do get under eye bags when I don't get enough sleep, but since I've started using this eye gel, I've really noticed that I don't have any major concerns! My dark circles have lightened dramatically, and I find that I can now get away with wearing only minimal under eye concealer. I used to have to use fairly heavy concealers on a daily basis, and now I can even get away with skipping the concealer. I think that if an eye gel can lead to results like that, it's definitely worth the higher price tag.

If you're in your twenties and looking for a great eye cream to help prevent fine lines and wrinkles, improve skin tone, and reduce puffiness, I highly recommend checking out SkinCeuticals' AOX+ Eye Gel. Have you tried this product before? What are your secrets to help reduce under eye puffiness and dark circles? :)

  1. I actually don't really get any under eye dark circles. I have a billion other problems instead, but that's one place I'm lucky. I do feel like I should start looking into preventative stuff soon though, just turned 25! ack!
