St. Tropez Self Tan Bronzing Lotion Face

If you're like me, and living in a place where the weather has started to get a lot colder, you might also be missing your Summer tan and glow. I find that I like the way my face looks a lot more when I have a light tan, but I never, ever tan my face in the sun. I've been turning to St. Tropez's Self Tan Bronzing Lotion Face* ($38 CDN/1.6oz.) to help bring some colour back into my face.

"A light and fast-absorbing lotion that delivers beautiful, sunkissed color without blocking pores. Specially designed for the delicate skin on your face, this luxurious lotion cleverly combines St. Tropez Self Tan with additional skin-hydrating benefits. Aromaguard™ fragrance technology helps minimize the telltale self-tan aroma by up to 70 percent. This lotion suits all skintones." - Sephora

St. Tropez' Self Tan Bronzing Lotion Face comes packaged in a white tube with a pump applicator. I like to apply this at night, after I've cleansed, exfoliated, and toned my face. I use 1-2 pumps all over my face, and I've actually been using my St. Tropez Applicator Mitt Face* ($10 for a pack of 3) to apply this self-tanner. The mitt ensures that your hands aren't left with any streaks, which is incredibly helpful! This instantly shows a hint of colour to your skin, so you can see where you've applied it. The rest of the colour then develops over the next few hours. Since this formula is specifically designed for facial use, it won't clog your pores. I've also noticed that this formula has virtually no scent to it! I find St. Tropez' regular line for the body does have a light scent, but I was happy to notice that this formula for the face is almost scent-free. I love the light golden glow that this product gives to my face, and I apply it every other night. I do use my Clarisonic every morning, which will make your colour fade a bit quicker. If you don't exfoliate often, you might be apply to apply this product every 4 days.

The amount of colour that this product adds to my face is perfect - it doesn't make me so dark that I have to go out and buy a new, darker shade of foundation. The end result looks very natural, and the formula hasn't irritated my skin or made me break out. If you're looking for a product to help add some colour into your face this Winter, definitely check out St. Tropez' Self Tan Bronzing Lotion Face.

Do you continue to self-tan in the Fall and Winter, or just in the warmer months? Even though I'm pretty covered up all Winter long, I still like having a bit of colour to my skin. What are your favourite self-tanning or bronzing products? :)

  1. This sounds awesome! I also love how my face looks with a bit of a tan :)
