Burt's Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream

Now that it's officially the first day of Winter (seriously, we've had a foot of snow for the past month, and that was still Autumn?), it's the time of the year when we really have to hydrate our skin. I use a cuticle cream or oil every day, at least once, as my hands do get quite dry. I've recently started trying out Burt's Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream* ($7.99/17g), and I'll share my full thoughts on it with you right now!

"Give your needy nails a helping hand. Nourish and moisturise nails and cuticles with this intensive, natural treatment. A touch of lemon oil makes your nails smell incredibly clean, healthy and beautiful, naturally." - Burt's Bees

You might know that I've been a long time fan of Lush's Lemony Flutter Cuticle Butter, and if you want a full comparison between that and Burt's Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream, please let me know! Burt's Bees formula has a similar texture to Nuxe's Reve de Miel Ultra Nourishing Lip Balm (reviewed here), in that it's slightly gritty. However, the formula melts into your skin very easily, and turns into an oily substance with your body heat. Even thought this is a lemon butter, I find that it smells more like limes. The scent is really nice, and it doesn't smell artificial at all. I've been applying this cuticle butter to all of my nails at night, and then following up with a hand cream. This formula is light, and it sinks in quickly so that it doesn't leave your hands feeling oily or greasy. This cuticle cream has really helped to hydrate my cuticles, and I have to say that they look really great right now! This tin is fairly small, and it would be really easy to travel with or to keep in your purse.

I've really been liking this cuticle butter to help nourish and hydrate my cuticles. I love that this formula sinks in quickly, so it's great to use at any time. The lemon-lime scent is really nice and refreshing. If you're in the market for a new cuticle butter, definitely check out this option from Burt's Bees! This product is also 100% natural, so you can feel good about using it! :)
