I have been using Julep's Glycolic Hand Scrub for a while, but my tube recently ran out. I've been replacing it with L'Occitane's One Minute Hand Scrub* ($24 CAD/100ml), and I'm in love! My hands can get quite dry in the Winter months, and I find that scrubs can do wonders to keep my hands looking healthy and hydrated.
"The One Minute Hand Scrub has been formulated to reveal incredibly soft hands in only a minute. Its bi-phase formula consists of:
- an exfoliating organic sugar to gently scrub and eliminate dead skin cells.- oils (shea, sweet almond and grapeseed oils) to help soften and nourish hands. " - L'Occitane
L'Occitane's One Minute Hand Scrub comes in a plastic tub, and the product itself separates leaving the exfoliating organic sugar at the bottom, and the oils at the top. This product comes with a small plastic spatula that you use to mix up the mixture. I then take a pea sized amount, and apply it to dry hands. This formula is quite exfoliating, but I don't find it to be harsh or irritating at all. I work the scrub in for about a minute - as the name would suggest - and then I rinse thoroughly. My hands are left feeling incredibly smooth and soft, and they look very well taken care of! The oils in this formula work beautifully to hydrate your hands, so they aren't left feeling dry. I do still like to follow up with a hand cream, but you definitely don't have to.
I really love the subtle Shea scent in this scrub, but I don't find that the scent lingers on my hands for too long. L'Occitane's One Minute Hand Scrub is an incredibly pampering product, and I absolutely love it! I think that this would be an excellent gift for anyone, as it might not be something that people would think to pamper themselves with. This 100ml tub should last me quite a while, and I like to use a hand scrub like this once a day.
Have you tried L'Occitane's One Minute Hand Scrub, or any other hand scrubs before? I think that they are a definite must have all year round, but especially in the Fall and Winter months. I would love to know what products you use to keep your hands looking great in the Winter! :)
This would be amazing for my poor winter hands! Where do you get L'Occtaine products in Canada?
ReplyDeleteThere are L'Occitane stores, and you can also find them at Sephora & The Bay! :)
DeleteI had no idea there was such a product. I love L'Occitane I need to track this down.

DeleteI actually have this and it's amazing! I've also found out that you can DIY a hand scrub similar to this as well so I may do that once I run out of my L'Occtaine one as they get a bit pricey.
