Marcelle Monochromatic Blush in Blossom

Marcelle is Canadian cosmetics company, and today I have their Marcelle Monochromatic Blush in Blossom* ($15.95 CAD/4.5g) to share with you! I used to use a lot of Marcelle makeup in high school, and I'm happy to have the brand back in my life!

"Designed to be worn alone or blended together, the 6 new Marcelle Blushes come in both Monochromatic and Quad shade palettes in a velvety powder loved by all. Combine the different shades to customize your look from discrete to intense depending on your mood or occasion. The colours blend seamlessly together to give you that perfect flush of colour any day or night. Compact includes a handy brush applicator." - Marcelle

Marcelle Monochromatic Blush Brush

Marcelle's Monochromatic Blushes come packaged in a black plastic square container, with a compartment in the bottom that holds the brush. The brush actually picks up a nice amount of product, but I do prefer to use a Sigma F40 blush brush. The blush has four raised squares, which doesn't affect the product at all but it is aesthetically pleasing. The shade Blossom is a pretty rosey nude which I find very flattering. This blush is so easy to wear, and the pigmentation is perfect. It's easy to add just a light wash of colour, but it can also be built up to a more dramatic look. Blossom will work best on light-medium skin tones. The formula of this blush is very velvety smooth, and it blends right into your skin without looking powdery. Marcelle's Monochromatic Blush lasts for about 6 hours on my cheeks before starting to fade, so you might need to touch up throughout the day.

Overall, I really like the texture and pigmentation of this blush. I do wish that it lasted just a bit longer, but it isn't a deal breaker for me. If you're a fan of shades like Tarte's Exposed, you might really like this blush from Marcelle. Marcelle is a Canadian company, and their products are made right here in Canada. American (and Canadian) customers can purchase Marcelle products online @ marcelle.com. Have you tried and products from Marcelle before? Are you a fan of rosey nude blushes? :)
