Annabelle Retractable Eyeliner - Chocochip

I've recently reviewed Annabelle's Retractable Eyeliner in Twilighting, and now I have the shade Chocochip* ($9.95 CAD/0.01oz) to share with you! Whenever I wear makeup, I use a black eyeliner on my upper lash line, and then I like to use a coloured pencil on my lower lash line. The shade Chocochip is a beautiful brown liner that works well on either the top or bottom lash line.

"Retractable pencil with integrated sharpener. The pencil has a creamy texture that glides easily. It is meant to be waterproof and long-lasting. (12h wear). Ophthalmologist tested. Available in 6 shades. 0.01 OZ / 0.34g." - Annabelle

Annabelle's Retractable Eyeliner comes in a long sleek tube that you can twist up and down. There is a sharpener on the bottom of the liner, but I honestly don't even know how to use these things. The formula of this liner is beautiful, it's really creamy and pigmented. The pencil glides onto my lash line effortlessly, and you have about 30 seconds to smudge it out before it sets. Once it sets, it's on there for good! I don't have any issues with this liner smudging throughout the day, and I do tend to rub my eyes quite a bit (stupid allergies). The shade Chocochip is a rich chocolate brown that has great pigmentation.

Annabelle's Retractable Eyeliners are quite similar to Stila's Smudge Sticks, which I also love. However, Annabelles are $9.95, whereas Stila's are $26 CAD for the same amount of product. If you wanted to save some cash, and support a Canadian company, I highly recommend checking out these liners from Annabelle!

I really love eye liners like this that you don't have to sharpen, I find them so much easier! You can travel with them without worrying about bringing along a sharpener, and you aren't wasting any product. I have really been enjoying the shade Chocochip, and it's a great alternative to black on days when I want a more natural makeup look. Have you tried any of Annabelle's Retractable Eyeliners before? There are some beautiful shades in the range, and I'm wanting to try out them all! :)

  1. Ooh this looks beautiful! I love brown liners :)

  2. While the integrated sharpener seems a bit useless (if it's a twist-up...why do you need a sharpener?) but the placement is quite ingenious!

    1. I think it's meant to give the pencil a more pointed edge, but I've never felt the need to use it!

  3. Might end up swatching Annabelle's liners next time at the drugstore, because not gonna lie, I've never tested anything of theirs before! Creamy + pigmented = must test!
