Bobbi Brown Corrector in Light Bisque

I've owned Bobbi Brown's Corrector in Light Bisque ($30 CAD/0.05 oz) for the majority of 2013, but I've just started really using it in the past month or so. I bought this at a CCO in Pennsylvania for only $16.25 USD, which I thought was an amazing deal. I've been using this corrector underneath my eyes before applying a brightening concealer, and I love the results!

Bobbi Brown Corrector in Light Bisque

"What it is: A peach- or pink-based concealer designed to neutralize dark undereye circles.

What it does: For very dark circles and extra coverage, Bobbi's secret is her Correctors. Use daily or just when you need extra coverage. It's designed to be layered under your yellow-based Creamy Concealer shade.

What else you need to know: Correctors come in a range of Bisque (pink based) and Peach (peach based) shades." - Sephora

Bobbi Brown Corrector in Light Bisque

Bobbi Brown's Corrector comes packaged in a small black plastic tub that is super easy to travel with. The formula of this corrector is fairly thick and creamy and has great pigmentation. You only need a small amount of this corrector to cover both under eye areas. I haven't tried out this corrector on any areas other than underneath my eyes, as I think that it would be too thick to use anywhere else. I really love how this corrector from Bobbi Brown neutralizes my dark circles, and it helps to create the perfect canvas to apply a brightening concealer over top of. I tap a bit of this corrector over my dark circles with my fingers, but you could also use a brush to apply it if you wanted to. This formula can feel a bit thick and tacky at first, but it does blend in easily and I don't find that it settles into any fine lines. Bobbi Brown does recommend that you pair this with her creamy concealer, but I think that it works well with any concealer that you have in your collection.

If you have dark circles, I highly recommend checking out this corrector from Bobbi Brown. This formula is quite thick, and it might take some time to get used to it, but it really does cover up my dark circles amazingly. Since you only need such a small amount, this little tub should last quite a while. I'm really wanting to try out more products from Bobbi Brown, so if you have any recommendations, please leave them in a comment below! Have you tried this corrector before?

  1. I've never tried Bobbi Brown cosmetics before, but I hear wonderful things and they always look so natural -- which is a huge plus for me. I'm curious about their eyeshadow, not surprisingly...as well as brow products. As far as recommendations go, though, I'm afraid I'm of no use. :)
