Crabtree & Evelyn Anthurium Nail Lacquer

Crabtree & Evelyn have recently released 4 new shades into their Nail Lacquer lineup, and today I have the shade Anthurium* ($6 CAD/15ml) to share with you! This was my first time using a nail polish from Crabtree & Evelyn and I was quite impressed.

"Enjoy a tropical twist that will enliven any celebration with our Anthurium nail lacquer. Inspired by its namesake flower, this brilliant orange-red shade exemplifies beauty at its boldest and best, whilst gold and orange shimmer add depth and whimsical delight. This fast-drying polish glides on smooth for gorgeous, glossy colour. For long-lasting wear, apply two coats, using our Clear lacquer as both a colour-adhesive base and a protective finish.

Crabtree & Evelyn's Nail Lacquers come packaged in a small square glass bottle with a rounded black plastic lid. The brush is a medium size, and it works really well to cover my nails with precision. The shade Anthurium is a beautiful burnt orange with gold and orange shimmer throughout the formula. I love the red undertones in this polish, I find that a red base can make an orange polish a bit more flattering. I used two coats of Anthurium for an opaque look. This polish formula is on the thinner side, but it still packs great pigmentation. The coats dried quickly and to a shiny finish. I've been impressed with the wear of this polish, I've been doing a lot of cleaning around the house and I've cleaned my makeup brushes, and I don't have a single chip!

At only $6, I definitely think that this polish from Crabtree & Evelyn is a winner! I love the burnt orange colour, and the formula is really great. Have you tried any polishes from Crabtree & Evelyn before? Which shades are your favourites? :)
