Essence Beauty Beats Shimmer Powder - Swaaag!

I'm sort of a highlighter junkie, so when I won an Essence Beauty Beats prize pack from Canadian Fashionista, the first product that I just had to try out was the Essence Beauty Beats Shimmer Powder in Swaaag! ($3.99/9g). This powder is embossed with Justin Beiber's famous phrase "Swag", which actually looks pretty cool. Regardless of your feelings on the Biebs, I think that this highlighter is a hit!



Essence's Beauty Beats Shimmer Powder in Swaaag! is a beautiful pale white/gold highlighter. I really love adding this to my cheekbones after applying blush, as this product bring a gorgeous glow to my skin. This formula isn't as smooth and finely milled as saw, NARS' Albatross, but this highlighter is less than $4. For the price, I am really impressed with the pigmentation, colour, lasting power, and ease of use. Essence's Beauty Beats Shimmer Powder in Swaaag! doesn't apply powdery, and it lasts on my cheeks for the better part of the day before fading. The shimmer in this highlighter isn't too heavy or glittery, so this product won't make you look like a disco ball!

Did you pick up this limited edition highlighter from Essence's Beauty Beats Collection? For under $4, I really can't believe how much I like this product! I definitely need to start paying more attention to Essence as a brand :) What highlighters are you currently loving?

    This one, in particular, is very appealing to me...for (embarrassingly enough) the packaging a well as the end-results. It's very pretty and extremely flattering on you!
