Lancome Blush Subtil Palette in 323 Rose Flush

I'm a huge fan of all in one palettes, so I was really excited to try out Lancome's Blush Subtil Palette in 323 Rose Flush* ($45 CAD/4.5g). This palette combines a bronzer, blush, and highlighter, making it perfect to travel with! I haven't had too much experience with Lancome's makeup, so let's see how I got on with this palette...

"Inspired by the techniques of the world’s most famous make-up artists, Lancôme has developed a way to enhance and revive the colour of your complexion. The 3 colours powder blusher comprises 3 individual shades applied in turn to sculpt the face and revive and illuminate the complexion. Drawing on Wet technology, its fine, lightweight textures blend effortlessly over the face for a professional looking. The long-hold colour remains even and glowing." - Lancome

The formula of these powders is so creamy and finely milled. The bronzer in this palette is incredibly creamy, and I really like the amount of pigmentation. I think that this bronzer would be best suited towards someone with a light to medium skin tone. This bronzer is fairly cool toned, and it doesn't look orange or muddy at all on my skin. I've been loving this bronzer to contour my cheeks and nose - it's a great matte bronzer. I've also used it all over my face for a sun-kissed effect. The blush in this palette is a pretty mid-toned pink. I find that this blush gives a very natural, light wash of colour to my cheeks. Again, this formula is insanely creamy and smooth, and it just glides onto my cheeks. The colour can be built up slightly, but this isn't one that's easily overdone. I find that this blush lasts on my skin for about 5 hours before it starts to fade. Not the best staying power, but it would be easy to take this palette on the go and reapply.

Finally, the highlighter in this palette is a pearly shade with pink undertones. While I do like this highlighter, I find that the strip of product in this palette is so small that it's hard to get a brush to just pick up this one colour. Every time I go to apply the highlighter, my brush also hits a bit of the blush pan. While this isn't a deal breaker, I thought that I'd mention it. This highlighter gives a beautiful but very natural glow to my cheekbones. This highlighter blends into my skin nicely, and it pairs beautiful with the blush shade in this palette.

I think that Lancome put together three shades that work beautifully together & compliment each other. I'll definitely be bring this palette along with me whenever I travel, since I love the convenience of having a bronzer, blush, and highlight all together. Lancome has also noted that you can swirl together all three powders to give a nice natural looking finish to the skin. Have you tried any of Lancome's Blush Subtil Palettes? Are a fan of all in one palettes? :)

  3. This is such a beautiful palette *-* (+bonus that you get 3 shades). Shame about the highlighter though, but then again, I've always imagined the brush to pick up highlighter would be smaller to precisely put product on the tops of cheekbones.
The blush is beautiful on you though!

    1. Thanks! That's true, but I generally use a blush brush to apply highlighter, so the pan is a bit small for me!
