Live Clean Exotic Shine Bali Oil Restorative Treatment

Over the past year or so I've really gotten into hair oils and hair mask/treatments. Lately I've been trying out Live Clean's Exotic Shine Bali Oil Restorative Treatment* to bring some shine and health to my hair. My hair is quite dry and damaged, and I also colour my hair at home every 5-6 weeks. My hair could always use a shot of moisture, and I'm always on the hunt for the next best treatment.

"Exotic Shine Restorative Hair Treatment hydrates and restores damaged hair, leaving it soft, shiny and healthy looking. This intense oil treatment is activated by rubbing in the palm of your hands and will restore the natural health and beauty of your hair in a 20 minute treatment. For extremely dry hair the product can be left on over night. Palm oil contains nutrients to feed the hair shaft and eliminate dryness while the added benefits of sweet almond and soy proteins smooth, strengthen and protect the hair." - Live Clean

Live Clean's Exotic Shine Bali Oil Restorative Treatment comes in a plastic tube and the product is in solid form. To use, I take a small amount of the solid oil, and rub it between my hands. Your body heat will quickly transform this product into an oil, which then can be easily applied to your hair. I have tried applying this bali oil all over my hair, and I wasn't in love with the results. I prefer to apply this treatment to my ends only, and I leave it on for about 20 minutes, and shampoo out. When I applied it to my entire head of hair, I found that the product was really hard to wash out, and it left my hair feeling greasy. However, when applied to my ends only, I really do love the results. Like most people, my ends are the driest part of my hair, and therefore they need a bit more moisture. This product smells absolutely incredible, every time I open the jar I'm transported to a beautiful sunny beach. The coconut fragrance is right up my alley, but it might be a bit too strong for some people.

Overall, I do really like this treatment. However, I wouldn't recommend that you apply it to your full head of hair, as it's just a bit too heavy for that. Also, this might not be the best product for anyone with thin or oily hair. I really love how this heals and protects my dry ends, and this product is 98% plant derived, vegan, and paraben free. The 120g jar should last me ages, as you don't want to get heavy handed with this product. Have you tried Live Clean's Exotic Shine Bali Oil Restorative Treatment before? Are you a fan of using oils in your hair? :)
