I recently finished off my bar of Lush's Snowcake Soap (Reviewed here), so I turned to my Lush stash and decided to try out their Sea Vegetable Soap* ($7.95/100g). This soap has a very interesting look to it, as it does contain seaweed. Lush does say that this soap contains a layer of sea salt, but unfortunately I didn't get much of that on my piece!
"Splish, splash it’s time to take a bath with our best-selling soap inspired by the sea. Sea Vegetable is made with skin softening seaweed, one of our favorite ingredients, with a crust of stimulating sea salt to give your body a good scrub down. In addition to cleansing your skin, salt also helps to soften and hydrate. Float away with the reviving scents of lime, lavender and seaweed. Instantly relaxing, your senses will be transported to groves of citrus trees and vibrant flowers. The best part? Your skin will be revived, brightened, and clean." - Lush
The best thing about Lush's Sea Vegetable Soap is the scent - it's so uplifting, invigorating, and an overall happy scent! If you shower in the morning, this would be a great soap to wake you up and get you going. This scent lingers on my skin for about 2 hours before starting to fade. This soap isn't ultra hydrating, but it also doesn't leave your skin stripped with that squeaky feeling. This soap is a nice balance, and it would be great for anyone with oily or normal skin. If you have very dry skin, you might want to use a more hydrating formula. This soap doesn't create a huge lather, but it still does lather slightly. If you're looking for a good soap to cleanse your skin without stripping all of the oils, this would be a great option for you! :)
This is one of my favourite soap scents from Lush! I feel like if you're a fan of the scent of Ocean Salt, Seanik, or Rub, Rub, Rub, you'll also be a fan of their Sea Vegetable Soap. Have you tried this soap from Lush before? I would love to know what your favourite soap scent/formula from Lush is! :)
Oh I haven't tried this one but it sounds and looks lovely! I have a decent stash of lush soap to use at the moment (thank you boxing day!) but I'll have to smell this one next time in store.

Definitely give it a sniff (or ask for a sample in store!) :)
DeleteAt first I read Soup from the title! haha. I've never tried anything with seaweed in it, it sounds really interesting :)

Oh man, that'd be weird! Seaweed is supposedly really nourishing and hydrating for the skin! :)
