Today I have another shade to share with you from OPI's upcoming Brazil Collection! OPI's I Just Can’t Cope-acabana* ($10.95 CAD) is not a shade that I would normally reach for myself, but I'm really glad that I got to try it out. I normally stay away from yellow nail polishes because I find that this colour is very hit or miss. I'm happy to report that OPI nailed this formula, and I Just Can’t Cope-acabana is a real winner!
Nothing lifts your spirits like this sunshine yellow.
“With sun-soaked shores, tropical fruits, and lush flora/fauna, Brazil is such an inspiring locale,” exclaims Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, OPI Co-Founder & Executive VP. “I wanted women around the world to embrace the energy and playfulness for which Brazilian women are known. Through the Brazil collection, with shades drenched in color and charged with shine, women can express themselves, showing off their sexy, mysterious, fun and exciting natures." - OPI
OPI's I Just Can’t Cope-acabana definitely makes me yearn for Summer! Does this shade not scream a day at the beach? This creamy yellow applied beautifully in just two coats, and I don't find that I have any streakiness or bald spots. I really like that this mid toned yellow isn't too pale or pastel, as I don't find those shades of yellow too flattering on my skin tone. I think that I Just Can’t Cope-acabana would look gorgeous on anyone with a deeper skin tone or a tan.
OPI's Brazil Collection hits stores February 5, 2014. Will you be checking out I Just Can’t Cope-acabana, or any of the other shades from this new collection? Are you a fan of yellow nail polish?
Also, I wanted to discuss something with you! I've been thinking about changing my blog name for quite a while, and I think I'm ready to finally make the switch. When I first started this blog, I only reviewed OPI's nail polish, and now I've definitely expanded my horizons! I'm also wanting to get a proper domain (example.com instead of example.blogspot.com). I have a few new name ideas, but I also want your input! So far I'm leaning towards Beyond Blush (Beyondblush.com), but what do you think? :)
I have a yellow from Bourjois that I purchased last year - I love yellow nails and this seems much more bright and more vibrant.

Thanks! I'm ready to start rocking more Spring-appropriate shades, I love brights and pastels! :)
DeleteAhh I miss summer! This Polar Vortex is not helping! I love the shade, and OPI never disappoints when it comes to naming their products! I really like BeyondBlush, it sounds lovely! I say go for a domain, it's fun to know you own a little piece of the www :)

I do too, this Canadian weather is not making me happy!
DeleteThanks for your input, I'm definitely going to go with a domain :)
I actually quite like this colour for summer. I'm not normally a yellow fan, but this one is lovely. I'm thinking of making my blog drop the WordPress bit too as its quite cheap to do. Xx
ReplyDeleteYa it's only about $10 - definitely worth it in my opinion! :)
DeleteThis is an amazing yellow! All the yellow polishes I've tried in the past have been complete fails, but this looks like it's a winner! Might have to pick it up! :D
ReplyDeleteThank you! The formula of this polish is perfect :)
DeleteThis polish is beautiful! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteSurprisingly, I don't have anything like this polish in my collection. Such a pretty bright yellow! There are a lot of polishes from this collection that have caught my eye. I can't wait until I find it in stores!
ReplyDeleteOh, then you should definitely check out this polish - the formula is amazing! :)
