OPI I São Paulo Over There

Today I have another polish from OPI's upcoming Brazil Collection to share with you - OPI I São Paulo Over There* ($10.95 CAD). This collection includes a great mix of vibrant and earth toned shades, and OPI I São Paulo Over There is more muted, but still quite beautiful.

“On spring runways, models were seen wearing lots of black and white, with bold accents of orange and yellow and muted elements of taupe and clay,” continues Weiss-Fischmann. “Brazil by OPI provides vivid hues to add a pop of color to a neutral-toned wardrobe, as well as earthy tones that easily transition from day to night.” - OPI

OPI I São Paulo Over There
"He was sipping coffee with this mocha-toned beauty."

OPI's OPI I São Paulo Over There looks quite purple on my nails, but I have seen it on other girls and it looks more taupe-brown. I feel like this is a shade that will look slightly different on every skin tone, but I'm loving the more purply look on my nails. This would be a great year-round colour, as it isn't too dark for the Spring, and not too bright for Fall/Winter. The formula of I São Paulo Over There was really good, and I needed two thin coats for a full coverage look. I did add a top coat to give this mani a bit more of a shiny finish. This mani has great lasting power - what you're seeing in these photos is day 3!

OPI's Brazil Collection hits stores February 5th - will you be picking up any shades from this collection? What do you think about I São Paulo Over There? By the way, I'm just in love with the name of this polish - so cute! :)

  1. Lovely shade, I like how it is more of a greyish purple since we don't see that as often i nail polishes :)

  2. It is exactly the same as Metro Chic. Bamboozled by recycled colors!
