The Body Shop Colour Crush Lipstick - 130 Sweet Coral

Happy Sunday everyone! Today I have another shade from The Body Shop's Colour Crush Lipstick line to share with you - #130 Sweet Coral* ($12.50 CDN/0.12oz.). This shade is a beautiful peachy pink that makes me long for Spring and Summer! I really like this creamy formula from The Body Shop, this is definitely a high quality lipstick.

"This luscious lipstick gives a stunning pop of colour and rich moisture, infused with a subtle rose scent.
  • High-impact color
  • Rich moisture
  • Infused with a subtle rose scent" - The Body Shop

I really like the packaging of these Colour Crush lipsticks! The lids are colour matched to the lipstick shade, which makes finding the right shade in your handbag a lot easier. The label on the bottom of the tube is also colour matched. Little details like that make me really happy! The shade 130 Sweet Coral is a beautiful peachy pink with a satin finish. I think that this would be an amazing shade to wear in the Spring and Summer months! This formula is incredibly creamy and hydrating, which does result in a shorter wear time. I find that I have to reapply this shade roughly every 2 hours, or apply a lip balm or gloss over top. This formula is quite pigmented, so you only need to go over your lips once to get full coverage. Because of this, you will want to use a mirror while applying this lipstick.

I think that I'll be getting a ton of wear out of this lipstick in the warmer months! This is such a beautiful coral shade, and I really love the creamy yet pigmented formula. Have you tried these Colour Crush Lipsticks from The Body Shop yet? I've also reviewed shade 200 Peachy Pink here

  2. this is really nice! although your review says both that you don't need a mirror and that you do need a mirror haha, or maybe you mean you need a mirror to apply but not reapply? although i find that i have to either use a mirror for both or neither, it just confused me a touch! i don't have any of this style of lipstick from the body shop but i really love their makeup and i am definitely interested in trying more :)

    1. Oops! Thanks for letting me know, I definitely do recommend using a mirror with this shade (although other shades from the range don't require a mirror!). :)

    2. although i don't own any, this range reminds me of a more hydrating version of the revlon lip butters from the reviews I have seen. some of those need a mirror, but some don't :) maybe that comparison is way off though!

    3. I find that the formula and pigmentation of Revlon's lip butters varies so much from shade to shade! The Body Shop's Colour Crush lipsticks are a lot more consistent, but darker shades do require a more precise application! :)
