The Perfect Palette TAG

Over the past month or so I've really loved all of The Perfect Palette TAG videos going around on Youtube, and I thought that I would share my picks in the form of a blog post! I own my fair share of palettes, and I had a lot of fun thinking of which palettes best suited each category. I stuck to eye shadow palettes, just because I don't own a lot of blush, concealer, or other types of palettes.

Tag Questions:

1. Best Packaging
2. Best Color Payoff
3. Most Versatile
4. Best for Travelling
5. Biggest Regret
6. Best Color Names
7. Least Used
8. Most Used, Most Loved, Desert Island

1. Best Packaging - Urban Decay Glinda Palette (reviewed here) - I had to go with one of Urban Decay's build your own palettes! This was a limited edition palette, and I absolutely love the shades included. When I finish off one of the shades, I'll be able to easily remove the pan from the palette and pop in another.

2. Best Color Payoff - MAKE UP FOR EVER 12 Flash Color Case* (reviewed here) - This palette is filled with 12 cream products that can be used as blushes, eye liners, cream shadows, etc. The pigmentation of these shades is unreal, I absolutely love this palette!

3. Most Versatile - Sephora + Disney Cinderella Storylook Eyeshadow Palette (reviewed here) - I also could have used this palette for best packaging, as the Cinderella theme is just too pretty! I love that this palette includes a good mix of neutrals and more colourful, bright shades. The pigmentation of these shadows is really great, and you can create so many different looks with this one palette.

4. Best for Travelling - My Inglot Quad - I bought this while I was in New York last year, and I want to buy some more Inglot shadows when I'm in Montreal next month. This small quad comes with a magnetic lid that actually stays on really well. I love all four shades that I picked out, and I can create a great look with these shadows. I like this quad for travelling because it's compact and doesn't take up too much space in my makeup bag.

5. Biggest Regret - Urban Decay Mariposa Palette - I was seeing this on a few blogs, and I gave into the hype. There's nothing wrong with this palette at all - the formula of the shadows is great, and I like the shades included. However, this palette is so hard to open up that I never reach for it!

6. Best Color Names - Too Faced The Return of Sexy Palette - This palette has shade names such as 7 Year Itch, Primadonna, Hopeless Romantic, and Beautymark - how can you go wrong? The name of the palette itself is pretty great as well!

7. Least Used - MAKE UP FOR EVER's Technicolor Palette* (reviewed here) - While the pigmentation of this palette is okay, it isn't amazing. I just don't find myself reaching for this palette over all of my favourites! However, this palette is good for a very colourful eye for a night out or for a costume!

8. Most Used, Most Loved, Desert Island - Urban Decay's Naked Palette - This was a no brainer! This picture was taken when I first got my palette, and now I've completely used up both Sin and Half Baked, and I've hit pan on Virgin, Naked, Sidecar, and Buck! If you don't own this palette, I highly recommend it! The pigmentation is incredible, and I love these golden tones.

So there you have it! Do you own any of these palettes? I tag all of you to also do this tag, and I would also love it if you left your answers in a comment below! :)
