Veet Face Precision Wax & Care

I typically tweeze my eye brows at home, but I do like to wax my brows occasionally as well. I find that waxing gets the job done quicker, which is always a plus in my books. I've been trying out Veet's Face Precision Wax & Care*, and I'm absolutely in love with this system!

"New Veet® Precision Wax & Care is the perfect combination of long lasting results and skin that's left feeling moisturised.

Specially developed for facial hair removal, the easy-to-use tube lets you apply a precise amount of wax exactly where you need it – eyebrows, upper lip, and chin.

Pamper your skin afterwards with our Aftercare Cream enriched with Aloe Vera. The result – your skin will be left feeling not just smooth but moisturised too." - Veet

Veet's Face Precision Wax & Care contains a dual ended stick with one end containing the wax, and the other end containing the after care cream. To use, simply place the pink end of the wand into a cup of just boiled water for one minute. This will heat up the wax and make it easier to work with. Then apply a very thin layer of wax to the areas of your face that you want your hair removed. I've only used this on my eyebrow area, as that's the only place on my face that I remove hair. If the wax doesn't squeeze out easily, place the pink side back into the cup of hot water. A thin layer of wax is recommended for best results, so don't go overboard! Next, take one of the fabric strips and place it over the wax, and rub a few times. Then, quickly pull back the strip, going against the direction of hair growth. I was very pleasantly surprised by how little this wax hurt! Honestly, on a scale of 1-10, the pain level was a 2. This was by far the most pain free wax that I've ever used, but it still got the job done and removed all of the hair in one go.

I love the packaging and application method of this product. Pre-waxed strips are not ideal for the eye brow area, as you want to be able to apply the wax to only the hairs that you want to be removed. This method allows you to do just that, and the included precision stick makes this even easier. The after care cream helps to soothe your skin after waxing, which is an important step. This box includes 20 fabric strips, and I only need to use one strip to get both of my brows done.

Overall, I've been highly impressed with Veet's Face Precision Wax & Care kit! I really love the packaging, and it would be very easy to travel with. I find this method quicker and less painful that tweezing my brows, so I will definitely be repurchasing this kit in the future. Do you tweeze, wax, or thread your brows? Have you tried at home waxing or do you stick to the salon? :)

  1. I do all of them - tweeze, wax and thread - depending on the mood, lol! :) Honestly, it's hard to tame my brows, this may be the next thing I'll try! :) Great review!

  6. I've never tried waxing at home and usually visit the salon and have my brows threaded but I'm really tempted with this and have seen it in the stores and picked it up and put it down again… now you've given it the thumbs up I'll have to try it.
