Vichy Nutriextra Fluid Replenishing Nourishing Body Care

My skin always gets quite dry in the cold Winter months, and I find myself constantly applying body lotions. I've been testing out Vichy's Nutriextra Fluid Replenishing Nourishing Body Care*, which claims to hydrate skin for up to two days, even withstanding showers! I typically use a body lotion once or twice a day, but this product would save on time, and it's great for those weeks where you just don't have the time to be worrying about body lotions!

"Vichy has combined reference hydrating and nourishing ingredients (glycerin, shea butter and plant-based natural oils) with Hydrovance®, a urea derivative, to hydrate up to the epidermis. The deep-filling action is so intense that its efficiency lasts two days*, even after a shower. Deeply nourished, the skin is instantly plumped up." - Vichy

Vichy's Nutriextra Fluid Replenishing Nourishing Body Care comes in a giant 400 ml bottle with a handy pump. This body lotion does have a bit of a fruity scent to it, which I don't love or hate. Once the lotion is applied the scent only lingers for a few minutes, which I appreciate. Vichy's Nutriextra Fluid Replenishing Nourishing Body Care has a gel-like consistency, and it absorbs into my skin quickly. I love how this lotion leaves my skin feeling plump, hydrated, and silky smooth! This formula doesn't leave my skin feeling greasy or sticky at all. I do find that this lotion helps to keep my skin hydrated for at least a full day, but to be honest I haven't gone a full two days to really test out the claims. I apply a body lotion every single night before bed, and I don't want to break that habit! Since I've been so consistent with this regime, I haven't had any dryness issues this Winter season.

Overall, I was really impressed by how hydrating this lotion was considering the consistency! I usually assume that the thicker the lotion, the more hydrating (think body butters), but this lotion is fairly thin while still packing some serious hydration! Have you tried Vichy's Nutriextra Fluid Replenishing Nourishing Body Care before? What body lotion are you currently using? :)

  1. Ahh my skin can't take anymore of this winter weather drying it out!
I currently use Bliss Grapefruit and Aloe body butter and it's been working out but I want a moisturizer that's unscented like this one!

    1. I haven't tried the body butters from Bliss! This one has a slight scent to it, but it doesn't linger on my skin! :)
