Estée Lauder Pure Color Gelée Powder EyeShadow - Cyber Pink

Lately I've become obsessed with pink eye shadows, and my latest love has been Estée Lauder's Pure Color Gelée Powder EyeShadow in Cyber Pink* ($28 CAD/0.03 oz). I've loved pink eye shadows for years, and I'm so glad that now they're finally back in fashion (thanks mainly to the Naked 3 Palette!). If you've never tried wearing a pink eye shadow, I highly recommend giving it a try!

"What it is: A vivid metallic-finish eye shadow that features a gel, powder, and liquid formula in one.

What it does: Create several multidimensional looks from one shade of this luminous shadow. Apply it dry for smooth metal shine. Use it wet to intensify color and boost shine. Its sophisticated metallic finish looks beautiful on all skintones." - Sephora

Estée Lauder's Pure Color Gelée Powder EyeShadows come packaged in small plastic square compacts, with the lid being that signature Estée Lauder gold. This shadow also comes with a small sponge applicator, which I'll honestly never use. Cyber Pink is a beautiful metallic pink shadow with silver shimmer. This shadow is very pigmented, you only need a single swipe to get full on colour. I almost always wear either an eye primer or a cream shadow as a base, but you could easily wear this shadow on its' own. This formula is creamy, smooth, pigmented, and long-wearing! This shadow stays looking vibrant and won't crease on my eyes all day long. I don't find that this formula is powdery at all, but I do get a bit of shimmer fall out. I like applying Cyber Pink all over my lid, and then using either a brown or purple shadow in the crease.

I'm really impressed with this creamy shadow formula from Estée Lauder! There are some great shades in this range, and I have my eyes on Cyber Ruby, Cyber Lilac, and Cyber Copper. Have you tried any of Estée Lauder's Pure Color Gelée Powder EyeShadows? Have you embraced the pink eye shadow trend?

  1. One of my favourite eyeshadow is a pink from MAC that I can't remember the name right now.
This one seems to have great pigmentation.

  3. I just LOVE these and they don't seem to get a lot of love around youtube and in blogs so I'm so happy to see that you are as impressed as I am. I don't have the pink but have several more that I love. Just gorgeous!! My mom and I both are into the gelee formula.

  4. I really like this eyeshadow! I am not sure how pink on the lids will look on me but I am thinking it will go nicely with a cat eye liner flick. Kind of 60 s style!!

  11. The Estee Lauder Gelee formula is absolutely amazing! I sadly didn't pick up those popular highlighters but I do have an eyeshadow palette with this formula that I love. And of course MAC has a bunch of limited edition products with this formula as well.

    1. Ooh I'll have to google the highlighters, they sound amazing! And I don't use a ton of MAC so I'm not familiar with their products, but aren't they an Estee Lauder brand?
