January 2014 Empties

Another month down, another huge box of empties! Yet again, I've managed to finish off a ridiculous amount of products. My goal for 2014 is to really focus on finishing up makeup products, so hopefully as the months go on I'll have more foundations, concealers, lipsticks, etc. But for now, let's focus on what I've used up in January!

Nivea Lip Butter - Vanilla & Macadamia (reviewed here) - Loved! Would definitely repurchase

Clinique Self Tan - This formula was alright, but I wasn't a huge fan of the scent of it.

Baléa Glow Sunless Tan Gelee (reviewed here) - This self-tanner gave a nice realistic colour to my skin, but I did find that it could streak. Not my absolute favourite, but I didn't hate it either.

St. Tropez Everyday Gradual Tan for Body* (reviewed here) - This formula was amazing! I never had a single streak from this tanner, and I highly recommend it.
Garnier Fructis Volume Extend Instant Bodifier Dry Shampoo* (reviewed here) - I really, really loved this formula! I loved that this dry shampoo didn't leave my hair looking white or chalky, and it did still absorb oils.

Clear Scalp & Hair Therapy Moisturizing Dry Scalp Shampoo & Conditioner - I really loved both of these, they really work to soothe your scalp and hydrate your hair. I would definitely repurchase.

Benefit Creaseless Cream Shadow - Bikini-Tini* (Reviewed here) - This smaller size came in a palette, and I really loved this light champagne shade. This cream shadow formula is really amazing!

OPI Top Coat mini - I do really enjoy OPI's Top Coat, but I find that the formula gets fairly thick when I'm about halfway through the bottle.

Jennifer Aniston Scented Body Lotion (reviewed here) - This came in a set when I bought the perfume, and I finally got around to using it! I love this scent, and the body lotion was nice and light!

Not Your Mother's Smooth Moves Frizz Control Hair Cream (reviewed here) - I bought this while in NYC, as this brand isn't available in Canada. I really loved how this cream smoothed out my frizz hair! I would definitely repurchase the next time I'm in the States.

Bath & Body Works Fresh Sparkling Snow & Coconut Grove Hand Soaps - I loved both scents & will always repurchase these formulas!

Bath & Body Works Wild Citrus Sunflower Body Lotion - This scent was really nice and floral, and I love this formula from BBW.

Lush Lovely Jubblies* (Reviewed here) - This is a breast cream, meant to firm! I really loved the scent of this cream, and I would definitely repurchase.

Bioderma Hydrabio Tonique* (reviewed here) - This toner was amazing! Ever since I've finished off this bottle I've been missing it in my life, so I definitely need to repurchase. This formula is so gentle, and you can even use it on your eyes to remove any leftover makeup.

Lush Sweet Lips* (reviewed here) - I love Lush's Lip Scrubs, and the chocolate scent of this one was amazing!

Caudalie Hand & Nail Cream (reviewed here) - This is one of my favourite hand creams, and the scent is really nice as well!

MAKE UP FOR EVER Smoky Lash Mascara (reviewed here) - This is such a great mascara, I really enjoyed using it! While I do love it, there are also a ton of mascaras that I love from the drugstore.

REN Glycol Lactic Radiance Renewal Mask - I got this as a 100 point perk from Sephora, and I really enjoyed using it! However, I'm not sure that I would spend the money on the full size bottle.

Murad Intensive-C Radiance Peel - I wasn't a huge fan of this product, I found that it smelt a lot like glue - not good! I wouldn't purchase the full size.

Crabtree & Evelyn Nantucket Briar Hand Therapy* (reviewed here) - This scent was really nice, and the hand cream formula was very hydrating. Definitely recommend!

Neutrogena Norwegian Foot Cream - This was such a nice, thick cream. If you have dry or cracked feet, you need to try this out!

Benefit Full-Finish Lipstick in Mod Squad (reviewed here) - This was a beautiful light baby pink lipstick, and this formula from Benefit is so creamy & hydrating! Definitely recommend.

Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner - Turquoise (reviewed here) - This colour was absolutely gorgeous, but this pen dried out fairly quickly. I prefer Stila's Smudge Sticks over their colour liquid liners!

Crabtree & Evelyn Noël Candle* (Reviewed here) - This was such a great scent to burn throughout the holidays! Makes me miss Christmas!

Lush Lemony Flutter Cuticle Butter (reviewed here) - This is one of my holy grail products, and I've been through several tubs! Right now I'm making myself use some other cuticle creams and oils before I let myself repurchase this one.

Vichy Idéalia Life Serum* (reviewed here) - This was a really great serum, I absolutely loved it! This is a new product from Vichy, and I highly recommend giving it a try.

The Body Shop Absinthe Purifying Hand Gel* - This was a nice hand sanitizer, but it wasn't anything super special.

Urban Decay Lip Junkie Lipgloss - Naked (reviewed here) - This sample size came with the Naked 2 Palette, and I really loved this gloss! The formula wasn't sticky, and the colour was really natural and flattering.

Hourglass No. 28 Primer Serum sample - This primer feels very luxurious and I really loved it! However, it is quite pricey so I'm not sure that I would spend the money on the full size bottle.

Lush Party On Shower Jelly* (reviewed here) - This was nice, but there are a lot of other shower gels and jellies from Lush that I like the scent of more!

Lush Snowcake Soap* (reviewed here) - I really loved the soft scent of this soap, and it was so creamy!

Bath & Body Works Verbena Waters Candle - This scent was really nice and reminded me of Spring! Not my absolutely favourite candle from BBW, but it was still good.

Bioderma Sensibio H2O* (reviewed here) - I used this every night to remove my makeup, and this bottle lasted me ages! Highly recommend.

Garnier Dark Spot Treatment Mask* (reviewed here) - I really love sheet masks, and this one was no exception!

Montagne Jeunesse Red Earth Clay Spa Face Mask* (reviewed here) - Again, I love a good sheet mask!

Whew! That's everything! Once again, I really don't know how I manage to use up so many products each and every month. I really try to stick to the same skincare and body care products, so that's one way that I get through those. I would love to know what products you've finished off recently, and whether or not you'd repurchase them! :)

It's pretty easy to get in Canada, but I've heard that's not the case in the US :(

  6. That is a lot of products! It sounds like you had a lot that you enjoyed, which is always more fun than just pitching a bunch of stuff you don't like.

  10. Wow, that's an impressive amount of empties you accumulated! I also got through a MUFE Smoky Lash in January, but it was only a mini.

I'm glad I saw your mention of the Stila Liquid liners drying out quickly. There are a few I've been wanting to buy but have held off for that reason, I was worried they would since my Eyeko is a similar format and it didn't last long at all. I'm a HUGE fan of Stila Smudge Sticks too.

I was really surprised by how quickly the Stila liner dried up, from now on I'll be sticking to their Smudge Sticks!
