Lancôme Color Design Infinité - 200 Perpetual Pink

Happy Thursday everyone! Today I have Lancôme's Color Design Infinité in the shade 200 Perpetual Pink* ($29 CAD/0.12 oz) to share with you. This shade was released as a part of their Spring/Summer 2013 Collection, but it has since been moved into the permanent line. This was my first experience with Lancôme's Color Design Infinités, so read on to see how I liked it...

"Lancôme invents a new generation of eye shadow with a breakthrough cushiony, silky powder texture that delivers high resolution colour and crease-proof 24 hour. Extreme colour purity allows for an intense, luminous look to the eyes.

24 Hours of Wear
Luminous eye colour that stays true for 24 hours without creasing. A revolutionary formula offers a silky, powder-to-cream texture that lasts all day and all night.

24 Hours of Vibrant Colour
Instant eye color, infinite intensity. The highest level of pearl and pigment creates an intensely luminous makeup result, with blendable, buildable coverage." - Lancôme

Lancôme's Color Design Infinités come packaged in small glass containers with plastic screw of lids. There's also a black plastic stopper that you aren't meant to throw out (shown below). This formula is a powder to cream, which is something that I don't think that I've ever tried before! This formula feels very creamy and smooth, and glides onto my eyelids easily. I like to apply a primer (currently using Too Faced Shadow Insurance) first, and then tap on this shadow with my fingers. Perpetual Pink is a beautiful shimmery pink shadow that is slightly frosty. I've been loving this shade as an all over base colour, and then I'll use something a bit darker in my crease for some definition.

Lancôme claims that their Color Design Infinité formula wears for a full 24 hours, but since I remove my makeup every night I haven't put this claim to the test. However, this shadow does stay put & looking vibrant for a full 16 hours, which is the longest that I've worn it. I think that's pretty impressive! I haven't had any issues with this shadow creasing, but I generally don't have that problem with most eye shadows. I really love wearing pink eye shadows, and I think that this light baby pink is just beautiful! If you're in a rush, you could easily swipe on Perpetual Pink all over your lids and leave it at that.

I'm really impressed with this formula from Lancôme! I'm also really wanting to try out the shades Endless Purple, Timeless Taupe, and Eternal Gold. Have you tried any of Lancôme's Color Design Infinités? They are quite pricey for a single shadow, but I do love the formula. I think that they're worth the splurge - especially if you have issues with your shadow creasing and fading throughout the day. :)

  1. Oh this formula sounds gorgeous, reminds me of the L'Oreal Infallibles that are a bit more budget friendly :)

    1. Yes! I've never tried the L'Oreal formula but they do look quite similar!

  2. Omg, I genuinely thought this was a blush, haha! (Must be the 'pink' in the name)
This shade is gorgeous! Doubt I'd pick it up though, since there are so many drugstore eyeshadows with the '24 hour claim' (or longwear), but this is a nice splurge product!

    1. Definitely not a blush aha! Although I might be able to use this as a highlighter if I apply it really lightly...
I agree, there are a ton of great drugstore options, but it is nice to splurge on yourself every now and again :)

  3. This shade is so nice, especially considering how much pink shadows are popular at the moment! :)

  4. I love how shimmery this is! So pretty! :)
