Lush Liquid Lipstick - Believe

Lush launched their Emotional Brilliance line a while ago, but it's taken me until now to try something out from their cosmetics line! I've been playing around with Lush's Liquid Lipstick in the shade Believe* ($18.95/5g), which will be the perfect shade for the upcoming Spring months.

"Believe in yourself and you can achieve anything you desire! Wear Believe, our creamy, raspberry-pink matte lip color to give your confidence a boost. The softening base of rose wax and jojoba oil hydrates lips, and absorbs beautifully for a velvety, never sticky finish. With its vivid berry-toned splash of color, Believe will leave you feeling unstoppable! Believe; and you will see it." - Lush

Lush's Liquid Lipsticks come packaged in little glass containers with a plastic twist off lid. The doe foot applicator is very easy to use, and I really love the compact packaging. There is a very slight scent to this lipstick, but I can't smell it unless I'm really trying to. The shade Believe is a gorgeous bright coral on my lips, but Lush does describe it as a raspberry pink. There's definitely no berry tones here when worn on my lips! I think that this bright pop of colour will look gorgeous in the Spring and Summer months... oh I just can't wait for the warmer weather!

Lush's Liquid Lipstick formula is very smooth and creamy, and very highly pigmented! You only need to go over your lips once to have a pigmented lip. The shade Believe is a matte colour, but it doesn't dry out my lips like most matte lippies tend to do. This lipstick hydrates my lips for about 3-4 hours, and then I need to apply a balm or gloss. Even after the hydrating effects wear off, my lips aren't left feeling dry or parched. The oils in this formula help to really nourish your lips. The colour itself forms a stain that lasts for about 9 hours! I was really, really impressed with the wear time of this lipstick! However, this colour isn't transfer resistant - so this isn't the idea lipstick to wear if you're going to be kissing someone, eating/drinking, etc.

If you're in the market for a new bright lipstick, definitely give this one from Lush a chance. I do feel as though this lipstick is a bit overpriced, but when you buy from Lush you know that the ingredients are good, not tested on animals, and all of their lipsticks are vegan. Have you tried anything from Lush's Emotional Brilliance line? I would love to know what you tried and your thoughts on it! :) Follow on Bloglovin
