Lush Neon Love Soap

Happy Saturday everyone! I have a pretty busy week ahead of me with 5 midterms from Monday-Thursday! So this weekend is going to be filled with studying, studying, and more studying! It's also my 22nd birthday on Tuesday the 11th, and I'm celebrating next weekend with a trip to Montreal with some girl friends. I haven't been to Montreal in over a year, so I'm really excited to visit the city again! Next weekend is also Valentine's Day, and today I have Lush's Neon Love Soap* ($6.95/100g) from their limited edition collection to share with you. I absolutely love Lush's soaps, and this one is no exception!

"We’re excited to introduce a brand new soap made especially for Valentine’s Day. With fresh passion fruit juice to cleanse and soya yogurt to nourish, Neon Love is one we want to use all over our bodies in the bath and shower. A new perfume was blended for this bar, and includes citrusy bergamot, rosewood and spicy cinnamon leaf oil. Hiding inside the huge heart-shaped soap are little white hearts to ensure every slice looks just as beautiful as it smells." - Lush

Lush's Neon Love Soap is super adorable, the pink outer core reveals white hearts on the inside when cut in store. This soap smells like straight up passion fruit to me, with the tiniest hint of cinnamon. While I'm not particularly fond of the taste of passion fruit, I do actually love the scent of this soap! The scent isn't super overpowering, and I don't find that it lingers on my skin for too long. Lush's Neon Love Soap lathers up in a pretty pink froth, which I think that most girls will appreciate. While this isn't the most hydrating soap from Lush that I've used, it definitely isn't drying at all. I still do recommend using a separate body lotion after showering, especially in this cold, drying Winter weather!

I've really been enjoying Lush's Neon Love Soap! I really love how cute the actual bar of soap is (those white hearts!), and the scent is a nice fruity concoction. This is a limited edition scent, so if you're interested in it you should pick it up now! Have you tried any items from Lush's Valentine's Day Collection this year? :)

  5. I love Lush products, but unfortunately they closed their stores in my country, guess they weren't going very well.

  6. I love this soap, it's so girly and cute! I've put myself off from buying it because I know as soon as I go into the store, I'll want to buy the whole Valentine's Day range! It's a shame it isn't very hydrating though - but it's definitely eye candy to have in your bathroom!

    1. Lush is a very dangerous place to go for the wallet! aha!
Even though it isn't super hydrating, I also wouldn't say that it's drying!
